I'll be doing this while the dash is still in the car. How does this conform around the speaker grills and defrost vent? Do you remove them first or does the cover fit around them? I guess what I'm asking is do they help hold the cover down? Thanks. Good video!

It’s just cutout around them. No, they don’t help hold it down.

Nice idea! I would have used contact cement which might mot have worked as well. I wonder of the epoxy will last longer.

Not sure. The dash was already trash, so I figured I had nothing to lose! Seems to have worked well though.

When taking out the dash, is there any worry about the anti theft system???? Because i heard takin out the dashes can cause something to be reset and not work right. Just wondering if there is any wire disconnecting i’ll need to do.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about, but I didn’t have any issues. I do know that I disabled the VATS in the ECU

Is this possible to do without completely removing the whole dash? Looks like you can just remove the passenger side grab bar and the dash bezel? My daughters dash has the same split.

I’m sure most people do it in the car. I just took it out to flock it also. Can’t do that in the car!
