Everything is easier when one puts God first. If one has a practice of asking for forgiveness & forgiving others, from & for God, then one can wipe clean the effects of the relationship, which after all was an attempt/experiment in seeking _human_ love. Just like accepting someone’s death, one can accept it as the wisdom of God. No matter how many movies are projected on the cinema screen, the screen remains clean & untouched after the movie has ended. Bad relationships are all part of finding _Real_ Divine Love of God, & also hopefully one day, a good enough “mirror” in another.

Good advice. Men should look at the relationship women have with their fathers. Women who have good relationships with their fathers will usually have good relationships with men. Women who have bad ones….run don’t walk away. Secondly, never take advice from someone who you don’t want to be like.

Everything she said is on point. The shame, guilt we carry after an infidelity can turn us into monsters. That’s why it’s always best to walk away after an infidelity. Save yourself and your peace of mind, from the turmoil of the “what if” syndrome that’s to come. Not to mention, that once you forgive them they’ll do it again. Because you showed them that you don’t respect yourself, so why should they?…

Hahaha I’ve never cheated. I expect an adult. Unmarried people pretend to be married for personal reasons all the time, & married people pretend to unmarried. & life changes. Unmarried people marry & married people get divorced. These are matters of personal business/privacy. I suggest one should be smart & honorable about it. Take the time to make the right choices, whatever they be for yourself first. I certainly don’t want anyone I care about making a mistake that leaves them resenting me long term for a moments indulgence.
