My husband is hyper-indepent. All of his female role models growing up, in his mind, had problems.... I recently mentally checked out of our marriage when he told me that my happiness is my responsibility and to find a hobby after I confided in him that I miss him from being gone a lot and I am lonely. The worst feeling when you are feeling alone in a relationship or marriage.

It is so great, interesting and helpful that she admits to her insecurities in relationships. Some women will just casually say "their looks" as far as insecurities go, but the jealousy she talked about, with humility, in such detail is important for men to understand. I never would have known or presumed either way, judging from everything else about her. It's useful to see patterns in the way people profess to be in relationships.

She has so much self awareness of herself is very impressive, and I love how authentic she is and not afraid to admit her flaws of being a jealous person. So few women are afraid or don't know they're insecure about something. We are all insecure about something and is wonderful when we're aware of it like she is.

Sadia, your interviews should be played on national television with subtitles in all countries. Primetime. You have a way of reading people and finding the true reason and explaining things, I haven't seen anyone do it. I bet many people comment if i only knew that before...

I knew I had trauma but I didn’t realize I need to go to therapy until I had my son for 4yrs already and realized my son was getting an unhealed version of myself. Having him brought up so many more emotions I thought I had let go of.

My sister who’s been in a 20 yr relationship/marriage has found out her husband was having an affair for 2 yrs. And it’s been very difficult trying to work things out between them! Never stay with a man or a woman that cheats. Children will see and feel the pain caused and will grow to resent the family and the idea of marriage. Trust me staying doesn’t help the family.

I said “nothing” was wrong, in my 20s. I don’t do that now. But also, I don’t hear the question as often either. They know when something is wrong. It helps to love someone who can be as introspective as you. Communication is underrated. Stop being afraid!

This is a great interview. Both Sadia and Mike are exemplary. I just wanted to say one thing about social media. I think women are so insecure these days because men are easily led. A seemingly innocent message (which may not be that innocent) on the part of another woman can easily lead to sexting, videos, and/or meeting up in person. Guys are easily led by sex and women know this. That's why they're hyper aware of social media. Not saying all guys do this but if a person has a large following, he's going to be in contact with a large amount of beautiful women. It's so easy for someone to be "cheating via social media" these days and their partner not even know what's going on. That's why when messages pop up, a woman wonders if something is going on because a lot of the times, there is.

First 10 min was scary, remarkable how similar our trauma made us.

If a woman cheats and gets caught, if he does want to forgive her, the incident is still always at the forefront. The slightest association trigger set him off, then the man punish her. As he punishes her and he relives the infidelity, he then begins to despise her. I am sure eventually they will separate. Not leaving must be the fear of not having someone else.

I have been in that same situation where the women who loved me was using that reasoning of "If he loved me he should know why I mad at him." Damn lady I'm precisely asking what is wrong and you are putting every obstacle imaginable when it comes to communication. But in a weird way she was right. I should knew better. I swear the last few interviews I've seen with good looking guys like him, you can tell they are interested in Sadia when they are fishing but make it seem like it is part of their podcast but it's really for personal reasons. At the age of 8, I had the thoughts of serving a tour in the military, going to college, and helping others. Between the ages of 10 and 11, I was exposed to much hatred, including men. I changed my desire to getting a decent job, marrying a decent woman, and making the best for our children.

wow! It was so refreshing to hear that you get jealous in that way. I am like that too but I keep it quiet mostly but sometimes it gets the better of me, I'm with a partner who is very private and keeps everything to himself, he's a sigma, scorpio male and he get s so annoyed with me when I ask details of what he's been doing when he's out, I'm always so open and tell him every detail but he doesnt do that, he likes to be secretive even though i have asked him on multiple occasions if he could share more. It has fueled suspiciousness in me at times which he gets very angry about if he senses that, its been very challenging. But thanks for your honesty it has made me feel better even if I know I still need to work on it. Thanks

For me, if the guy does something and I am upset & I do not say what it is right away, it means that I am trying to calm down before I say something. I do not want to cause an argument and yell, so I want to calm down before having a discussion. Also if I have told you several times about the thing I do not like and you do the thing again, then I am most likely not going to tell you again because I have said it over and over again before. I do not expect that the guy will be a mind reader, not all women think that men are mind readers.

it teaches us that when there is trauma it can be healed, it can be overcome with healing, when you make an effort to heal the trauma

To be honest, this is an important topic. There are too many factors that affect our psychological well-being, both for women and men. And yes, we all come from childhood, and we also take and carry most of our traumas from there. And then we bring these traumas into our relationships with partners. Very few people go to psychologists to resolve these issues. The role of the mother in the life of a boy (man) is very, very important. After all, she is the first woman in his life, an example of behaviour, femininity, attitude to men, etc. This is the foundation.
