🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: HOW TRAUMA EFFECTS MEN IN RELATIONSHIPS 00:00 🏛️ Open relationships can lead to putting desires over relationship needs, damaging commitment. 01:18 🚫 Forgiving cheating can lead to loss of self-respect and potential abuse, especially for men. 02:36 💔 Cheating can irreparably damage trust and lead to negative behaviors in a relationship. 04:44 🚼 Childhood trauma can impact adult relationships, influencing partner choices. 06:39 🏠 Absence of mother figure during childhood can lead to hyper-independence in relationships. 08:59 📱 Social media actions, like liking provocative photos, can damage relationships. 12:06 💑 Rejecting emotional connection bids predicts relationship issues and divorce. 14:11 🛋️ Couples counseling is valuable to maintain stable relationships, especially before having children. 15:41 📸 Being mindful of social media interactions with opposite-sex individuals is crucial. 19:05 💏 Quality time and attention can alleviate insecurity and maintain connection in relationships. 20:16 💪 Discipline is admirable; a disciplined man with principles and boundaries is respected. 21:13 💔 Jealousy can strain a relationship, and managing it takes patience; excessive jealousy is draining. 23:46 🎉 Utilize your 20s for personal growth, career development, and self-improvement, rather than just partying. 24:28 🌟 Fulfill your potential in your 20s to avoid regrets and maintain good mental health as you age. 27:07 💼 Life experiences in your 20s can shape your future; seek advice from experienced mentors. 29:43 👪 Starting a family is a goal; while every age is good for having children, be prepared to provide and be present. 30:54 👨👩👧👦 Choosing a partner for parenthood is critical; be cautious and considerate to ensure a healthy family environment. 32:08 👩👧👦 Consider using your platform to provide a balanced voice between feminist and "red pill" ideologies. 33:46 📚 Debunking divisive ideologies can promote healthier relationships and homes. 36:03 😬 Concerns about the next generation include hyper-sensitivity, offense, and excessive sexualization; fostering a balanced view is vital.

It is so great, interesting and helpful that she admits to her insecurities in relationships. Some women will just casually say "their looks" as far as insecurities go, but the jealousy she talked about, with humility, in such detail is important for men to understand. I never would have known or presumed either way, judging from everything else about her. It's useful to see patterns in the way people profess to be in relationships.

She has so much self awareness of herself is very impressive, and I love how authentic she is and not afraid to admit her flaws of being a jealous person. This is a great interview. Both Sadia and Mike are exemplary. I just wanted to say one thing about social media. I think women are so insecure these days because men are easily led. A seemingly innocent message (which may not be that innocent) on the part of another woman can easily lead to sexting, videos, and/or meeting up in person. Guys are easily led by sex and women know this. That's why they're hyper aware of social media. Not saying all guys do this but if a person has a large following, he's going to be in contact with a large amount of beautiful women. It's so easy for someone to be "cheating via social media" these days and their partner not even know what's going on. That's why when messages pop up, a woman wonders if something is going on because a lot of the times, there is.

If a woman cheats and gets caught, if he does want to forgive her, the incident is still always at the forefront. The slightest association trigger set him off, then the man punish her. As he punishes her and he relives the infidelity, he then begins to despise her. I am sure eventually they will separate. Not leaving must be the fear of not having someone else.

It is certainly not impossible for a relationship to survive infidelity by either party! Why do people assume that couples cannot resolve and overcome infidelity? I do not want to cause an argument and yell, so I want to calm down before having a discussion. Also if I have told you several times about the thing I do not like and you do the thing again, then I am most likely not going to tell you again because I have said it over and over again before. Sadia God bless you, you trully are inspiring and i wish i had you as my teacher when i was studying... you do great service to humanity by providing wisdom on how we can understand each other better and heal from lack of love. Because in the end that's what trully matters. Never give your power away to people who have not yet understand your wisdom and try to criticize you in a not constructive manner or point you down, for they are only projecting their own experience, pain or lack of clarity. You know this , just dont forget. Gratidão 💛🙏

it teaches us that when there is trauma it can be healed, it can be overcome with healing, when you make an effort to heal the trauma

To be honest, this is an important topic. There are too many factors that affect our psychological well-being, both for women and men. And yes, we all come from childhood, and we also take and carry most of our traumas from there. And then we bring these traumas into our relationships with partners. Very few people go to psychologists to resolve these issues. The role of the mother in the life of a boy (man) is very, very important. After all, she is the first woman in his life, an example of behaviour, femininity, attitude to men, etc. This is the foundation.

I just happened to stumble across this video on my feedback. Wasn't sure what to expect - a bro podcast? Turns out, this was a really good interview. I was hooked the whole time.
