She totally owns this conversation. So on point, so lucid, razor sharp. When he attempted to justify why it's ok for men to have high body counts, I felt I was listening to a 15 yr old instead of a fully grown men. I’m an emotionally intelligent man. I’ve noticed that there is only room for my emotions when they are convenient for the woman that is asking me to be emotionally intelligent. And that any emotional labor I do that is not for her convenience, or not something that she specifically asks for, that either goes unnoticed; or when I’m saying something that is not favorable, that shit gets used against me and it becomes how she feels about what I said, and not about what I said.
@diana.290
@diana.290 6 ай бұрын
@@zeevwolf13 I often think about this. I remember studying in university a course named Criminal law and frorensic mental health. Evey study ever made clearly shows that women are by far more emotionally intelligent than men. Most studies are also backed by statistics based on criminal behavior (take a look at which gender commits almost all of the most violent stuff). Given all this data, could it be that even when a man think he is being emotionally intelligent in the way he chooses to deal with a situation, he is actually wrong? I think more people need to be aware of the disparity of emotional intelligence levels between genders and become active learners on the matter.

@@diana.290 First you trivialize (deny, disrespect) my experience as a man, then you use red herring unnamed sources to attack my experience as a man, and last you reverse victim and offender by implying my experience as a man is “wrong.” Essentially you’re “stereotyping,” “shaming” and “devaluing” a whole gender based on what you recall from a class involving studies on criminal populations. Tactically sounds like DARVO to me, and not surprisingly delivered covertly which aligns to my experiences. Thank you for providing evidence to support my experience that when I say something that is not favorable to how a woman feels, that shit gets used against me and it becomes how she feels about what I said, and not about what I said.

@@diana.290 you're making a generalization error. It could be possible that in a given situation the man is being more emotionally intelligent than the woman. Averages are based on individual experiences, and they may not explain every single interaction between every single man or woman. It's important to ask for more information rather than immediately shutting down the argument. I've seen loads of people simply quote a statistic and think that proves their point, when in reality the truth is a bit more complex.

@@zeevwolf13 If you're really as emotionally intelligent as you claim (and I don't know you to say you are or aren't), at some point you'll understand that everything you mentioned about your emotional intelligence only being appreciated when it goes in a woman's favor only shows that you and said woman were not compatible. It's not a matter of "women only recognize/appreciate emotional intelligence when it's convenient for them", it's about YOU carrying youself through life situations with empathy, self-regulation and the like, regardless of how others react to it.

It takes courage and fortitude to stay true to being authentic, when a culture rewards promiscurity and shallow values. Learning how not to internalise that messaging, that being a more traditional values person, is not something to give up on, when you don't for example get showered in gifts or attention - but also realising, when you value yourself, you sleep soundly, you know you won't face the mental & emotional battles later in life when looks and money can't fix a broken mind and heart or soul. @@trewloveofficial I think that morals in general have gone out the window making it rare to find. Each generation gets more and more loose. Hardly anyone waits until marriage anymore. It’s common for people who don’t even know each other to just hop into bed with each other like it’s just a casual act of pleasure. This is only numbing people’s emotions. The more easier that men have access to sex the less they value the right woman when she is presented to them. We value what we work hard to get but will take what is easy. I have stumbled on this video and i couldn't attest that what she says is true. There is no room for 'good girl'. People have thrown authenticity out the window to be liked even going to lengths of pain(body modifications). I believe there is nothing wrong with having traditional values if thats how you like to be. It doesn't mean that you are less interesting in any way. However, you can look good for your 'other' without changing who you are.

Amazing podcast! I am from Ireland and this is what you are talking about an eye opener for me. I am a normal type of woman after a master , working hard and I am fit in the second category of women you are talking about. It is so hard to find a nice man or I would say normal man nowadays but here is the thing. I can't change myself to be more proactive etc. On my Instagram most of the things I post are food 😊 Totally agree with you Sadia. Have a great day both

Omg she is speaking facts! I’ve looked at my guy friends explore page and it’s all promiscuous women showing their bodies and they complain about it. Then I show them mine which is obviously totally different. They clearly are attracted to that content. I find it so hard to date. I’d love a good man who takes care of his family but in America especially I don’t see those men

Just at the start of this where you are talking about balance and working. Thank you so much for normalising this concept. I'm a little bit older than you guys and I was taught that - if I wasn't striving and hustling every minute of the day , strained and exhausted - then I am I'm lazy. I think this concert is really important to normalise. We need to remember how to play and be ❤

What a great video! This is the first video of yours I have watched, but I am really taken with the depth of your statements and rationale. I am a 53 year old man, been with the same woman (married) for 20+ years, and I wish more younger men would listen to what you are saying. You are totally spot on about what behaviors men reward in women, and the risks of promiscuity in men. Thank you for the clarity of your insights.

I love Sadia’s perspective on promiscuous men. Men should always be a gentlemen. If he manages multiple relationships with attractive women with values and stays a gentleman good. Good for the lady’s too. Both parties exit healthier with a better understanding of proper relationships.

Current dating is just practicing for divorce. This chick is sooo smart. Everything she says, I agree with. As a woman who constantly cuts off guys and won't relent on condom use, high value men seem to be SHOCKED. Other girls them them get away with so much, so then why put myself in their lower category when I'm saying no? In order to sleep around with many women, you need to be less choosey. Those who are higher fruit aren't out of your reach unless you change your ways.

We have a very similar personality and I obsessed with psychology (and when she said “knowing too much is difficult I felt that” She is beautiful, smart humble, fun, vulnerable, wise, passionate, open, kind, firm, calm, even tho her anxious attachment style still effects her due to her parenting growing up as I am the same, but the thing is aware and she is not beating herself up for it! people like her make a difference as people who lean more anxious will the only once in my opinion, that try to fix this broken society without the shame and guilt judgement!!! She's right about alot. A man can have a high body count and be a one trick pony. That's why a man that's been in a long relationship(s) is a better alternative. Many times the men that are publically hating women with a high body count are also the ones sleeping around and reward promiscuity with their attention. Talking about double standards... Also, not all women are not walking around looking for their dad - some have actually worked through their trauma and are looking for quite the opposite of the chaos they've gone through in childhood.

I have no idea who these people are. I just came across this interview. It seriously makes me want to cry for both of them. The guy is clueless about what a truly high value woman or relationship is. He's been totally brainwashed by whatever "high value" circles he runs in. She had some really fantastic things to say and she is a high value woman but too afraid to get married or have children. Our Starbuck Janets and our Blue collar men are what are truly keeping this world going. At least they have the courage to try.
