To let you in on a little secret, Dr. Richard C. Miller introduced me to Satan, who made this documentary. MythVision was the first people touched by Satan's presence, so we thought it necessary to review it. I will be joined by Dr's Joshua Bowen, Kipp Davis & Paul Davis. We hope you will share this "propoganda" out far and wide!

Even if El walking around the garden in a humanoid form weren't omniscient, just how dumb of a deity do you have to be to not put up a baby gate around the tree? If the serpent 🐍 had knocked the fruit off the tree, outside of the fence or otherwise delivered it to them, then sure, we could see it as a bad guy. 🤷‍♂️ But that's not how the narrative plays out.

in the Hebrew scriptures, Satan is the "opponent" in the courtroom. He is the heavenly prosecutor who reminds god of your sins so something bad can justifiably happen to you. He is one of the many ways Jews try to understand why bad things happen to them. But he is in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM some angel trying to overthrow god who fell from heaven, That is absurd and insane in Jewish thought. A being that is close to the source of existence,,, the only true existence, would try to battle with it??The mere idea is stupid and actually NOT monotheistic, rather dualistic. No, In Judaism, Satan is similar to Hades in Greek Mytho. Whats amazing is Xtians dont understand this when the New Testament authors actually refer to Hades MULTIPLE times! LOL. Hades is one of the sons of Kronos. Brother of Zeus & Poseidon (shows just how very Hellenized the NT authors were). Fundamentalist xtians try to interpret this as something other than the Hades we all know. smh. Anyways, Satan in Jewish literature is very very similar. The only difference is instead of being the brother of Zeus, he is a "malach" or "messenger" as Jews are monotheists. (NT writers also turn malachim or messengers into "angels." also a very Hellenistic idea). In the highest level of existence, Satan does not even exist. And in the realms he does exist, he cannot disobey YHVH. Malachim or "angels" do NOT have free will in Judaism. They are mere messengers. They cannot do anything except what they are designed to do. Each only has one job. There is no such thing as an angel rebellion in Judaism. Genesis 6 is talking about corrupt judges and nobles. Read the Rashi on it. www.chabad.org/library/bible_cdo/aid/8171/jewish/Chapter-6.htm you can click there and near the top of the page you can see a "show /hide" selection for the Rashi commentary. Turn the Rashi commentary on. Rashi's commentary on the simple and literal meaning of the text are virtually universally accepted amongst Rabbis.

@@TheSweetScience123science & the Bible dont usually go together.. but i am sure you have all the answers. THE BIBLE WAS MEANT TO BE Interpreted BY THE Interpreter. ITS JUST THAT THESE DAYS THE Interpreter isnt reading the Bible & leave the interpreting to their pastor. Just bc they believe one thing, doesnt make what I believe wrong. I think we can both agree NO ONE WAS EVEN THERE TO WITNESS THESE EVENTS-- NO ONE IN THIS CENTURY & EVEN THE GOSPELS WERE WRITTEN 60-70 YEARS AFTER THE Crucifixion BY MEN WHO WERE ILLITERATE. OOOOOKKKKK. LOL. I dont think many people know that the Bible was just found... It was discovered at a monstery. Just sitting there. No one knew who put it there or where it came from. A beautifully written codex. Lol. Come on. Those guys didn't write that crap. Now read it again with an open mind & dont skip over the important parts- like where the Bible refers to Satan AND JESUS as the 'morning star' or when Jesus flips the tables in the TEMPLE OF MARDUK. not just the temple, the temple of MARDUK. There are clear references to other Gods and dieties... You're worshipping Egyptian mythology. Besides, havent we always been told that Satans greatest trick was the deceptipn of Gods people? What would be the greatest trick? Having every person believe they were worshipping the right God when theyre really worshipping the wrong one all along, and THEN ALL THOSE PEOPLE GET TO BURN IN HELL FOR ETERNITY RIGHT? and also, the Bible clearly says Heaven and Hell are empty til the return of Jesus Christ. So where are all those people who died before us, limbo, purgatory? Where is God keeping them & why isnt he concerned about their eternal life?

I think that Friedman's The Bible With Sources Revealed makes a great case that Abraham actually sacrificed Isaac, based on, among other things, the separation of the sources within the text. It's pretty clear that a secondary source (P? I forget) comes in to save the day just before the killing strike. And what's preserved, even in the text as we have it today, is that Abraham comes down off the mountain alone.

Slap a couple of high school critiques on the most analysed literary work in history, get in a circle jerk and have your friends congratulate you on how smart you are. Because it seems like every possible approach to theology has been tried, espoused vigorously, documented and debated. . .my little brain likes to come up with scenarios and wonder how long it will take me to find out if and when someone first espoused a given scenario. I was recently wondering (reasons below) if there had been a conception of Christianity where crucifixion and resurrection represented something done (in some way) _by_ everyone (instead of being done by one person/god _for_ everyone). And, in the discussion around rolling away the stone, and the dismay of the Corinthian congregation about their dead not popping back to life right away, I got half an answer. The reason I was thinking about this: System of a Down's Chop Suey. Near the end, it references a famous bibilical scene. And my childhood bible school training, firmly residing in my hindbrain, kicked in immediately and thought: that's awfully arrogant, he's making himself out to be Yeshua. And then, as my mind recovered from this knee-jerk response, I began to consider the potential theologies of that _not_ being an act of arrogance. (Musicological note: I was really only investigating this SoaD tune because VoB had covered it)

The exodus happened in reverse. The Levant had been under control of Egypt for two centuries (partly longer), until the 19th dynasty ended. Then Egypt collapsed back into itself, behind the red sea and a little later back into the Nile valley. At this moment we are deep in the bronze age collapse. Sea people everywhere. Huge turmoil. Things have changed. I think the bible refers to "a history", roughly. This occupation was the situation on the ground. It is the right story on the right timeline, kinda. In reverse. Egypt crossed the sea. I think we have all the ingredients. I imagine a time of hiding from the clear and present chaos. Hanging in the desert. Things were on the move. That's for sure. Besides that it's very symbolic.

P.S: If you feel overwhelmed when it comes to all of the secondary literature on Biblical Scholarship it’s okay, everyone who wants to learn about it does when they first start. Don’t forget to use tools such as Google Scholar to help you isolate a particular topic. What sense would it make for god to punish the serpent and all its descendants for something that the devil did while possessing it? The act wasn’t committed by the serpent, it was committed by the devil.

*Jephthah was framed by Yahweh* 😅 They didn’t just think Yahweh wanted sacrifice. Yahweh’s spirit was in Jephthah at the time of the pledge. Yahweh honored the sacrifice. Christians, Hebrews 11:32-33 says Jephthah conquered via faith. Judges 11:29-12:3 _Then _*_the spirit of Yahweh came on Jephthah_*_ …. And Jephthah made a vow to Yahweh_

I’ve always wondered why satan is portrayed as a lier while in genesis he only said something that God later on confirmed. God to Adam and Eve : « don’t eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, if you do you will die » Satan « no you will not die, God knows that if you eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, your eyes will be open and you will become like god knowing good and evil » God : « now that man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil » Where is the lie ? Satan said something to Eve and God confirmed what satan had said to Eve ! So why do we say that satan lied to eve ?

When I doing research on the Canaan it was referred to as "The land of Purple." Now it's just associated with the Phoenician. The bible says, the Israelites wore "Blue/ Scarlet(red) Linen girdle/ belt (Ex 39:29)." When I got to Rev 17:4 about the Scarlet women I was like aren't you talking about your own people, the Canaanites (Israelites and Phoenician) or did they forget. The Bible really likes to divide up people even though they essentially related. I mean Kemet(Ancient Egypt) is known as the "Black land" because of the nubians.

1:50:00. I wouldn't worry about the tone the tone is just right for every person who's seeing it for people who have heard lots of language that was complicated explaining about the historic cities and the all the all that study this brought those speakers to explain themselves directly and that made a lot of things clear for people who are apologists that mocking tone that was for them that hit them they got it for people who are full-blown Christians and wouldn't look at it a title that says Satan anything they won't look at it but they'll look at it for a second and if it's too cerebral they'll turn away but because it was Christian children's songs which is what they have been having their mental Minds mushed into that they accepted it they took it and that's another reason why the apologists are having their heads blown off in anger because they know that their little children that they have created will be susceptible because it's being delivered to them as little children I got more but I'm working

The video "SATAN WAS RIGHT!" delves into the provocative exploration of biblical narratives, challenging conventional interpretations through a mix of scholarly insights and humor. Here's a summary and analysis based on the content provided: --- ## Key points 📜 **Title Provocation**: The provocative title sets the tone for a critical examination of traditional biblical stories, inviting viewers to reconsider established beliefs through the lens of modern scholarship. 🔍 **Critical Scholarship**: The video emphasizes the importance of critical biblical scholarship in understanding the origins and evolution of biblical texts, contrasting this approach with traditional theological interpretations. 👹 **Satan's Guide to the Bible**: The documentary discussed explores biblical narratives from an unconventional perspective, suggesting a reevaluation of characters and stories often taken for granted in religious contexts. 🏺 **Archaeological Evidence and Exodus**: Scholars and archaeologists find little to no evidence for the large-scale Exodus as described in the Bible, suggesting instead that the Israelites were indigenous to the Canaan region. This challenges the narrative of a dramatic escape from Egypt and entry into the promised land. 📖 **Israelites and Canaanites**: Linguistic, archaeological, and textual evidence points to a significant overlap between early Israelites and Cananites, indicating that the Israelites were essentially a subset of the Canaanite population. This finding complicates the traditional adversarial depiction of Canaanites in biblical texts. 🌍 **Competitive Historiography**: Ancient Near Eastern cultures engaged in competitive historiography, crafting grand origin stories to assert the superiority of their heroes, gods, and national identity. The biblical narratives are understood within this context as a means to forge a unified Israelite identity. 📚 **Power of Story**: The documentary underscores the transformative power of storytelling in shaping communal and individual identities. The biblical stories, even if not historically accurate, played a crucial role in forming the collective consciousness of the Israelite people. --- ## Summary 1. The video challenges viewers to question traditional interpretations of biblical narratives, emphasizing the role of modern scholarship in uncovering the historical and cultural contexts of these stories. 2. It discusses the lack of archaeological evidence for the Exodus story, suggesting that the narrative of escaping Egypt and entering the promised land is not supported by historical data. 3. The evidence points to a close relationship between the Israelites and Canaanites, challenging the notion of a distinct Israelite identity emerging from outside the Canaanite culture. 4. Ancient Near Eastern societies engaged in creating grand narratives to establish their cultural and religious supremacy, and the biblical texts can be seen as part of this broader cultural phenomenon. 5. Despite the questions about historical accuracy, the documentary highlights the importance of biblical stories in shaping the identity and beliefs of the Israelite community, demonstrating the enduring power of myth and narrative in human societies. This analysis reveals the complexity of biblical scholarship and the importance of approaching these ancient texts with a critical and open mind, recognizing their role in cultural and religious history while also acknowledging the limits of our historical knowledge. #ChatGPT4 #deconversion
