Sattuma is a Karelian folkband from Russia. They play new folk songs, inspired by the rich Karelian heritage. At Liet International 2009 they performed Marjaini Darjaini.

Tämä laulu on erittäin inspiroivaa! Tällainen kaunis laulu! Useiden samanlaisia bändien pelissä Unkarissa! Terveisin, mistä sameen/norjan arktisilla Tromssassa kaupunki Tibor Barna, etnografin-politiikan tutkija Unkarin kansalaisen Ez a dal nagyon inspiratív! Gyönyörű ez a dal! Saw this song, with subtitles at Omrop Fryslan. It's about a father who calls his beloved daughter Daria, to come to the sauna. She doesn't want that because the road is narrow, the steam to hot, the soap stings. At the end, her lover calls her to the sauna and she goes, because the road is wide, the steam is just fine and the soap creamy. Great song, makes me happy even if I cannot inderstand one word of it.

Yes, also there is three times. First the father says to go to sauna and she makes excuses to not go. Then her mother asks her to go but again, she makes excuses. Then her lover calls her to sauna and all excuses are gone.

Sattuma, hah, hah, hyvä nimi! Yes it sounded very Karelian. I liked it! The violin playing girl sings similar style as many Finnish folk singers. Never heard this band before and this seems to be an OLD video.

Maybe her father is referring to her husband,where in Dutch it was translated to 'loved one' or 'boyfriend'. Still a happy song, don't you agree?

No, Tuatto is always father. It is normal in finnish and karjalan cultures to go to sauna with your family.
