Cecilia trying to get revenge on John and Amanda but she won’t be prepared for the Hoffmanator

Saw X was so great and successful because of Tobin Bell. If he’s game for more sequels, they need to continue in this time frame. There’s plenty of time to do a follow up to The Final Chapter, but Bell is 81 years old… Either way, I’m satisfied. This movie works perfectly as a sendoff to John Kramer if that’s what it turns out to be. We understand and empathize with him more than ever. I do want to see a movie eventually where all of Jigsaw’s apprentices are put in an escape room style game like the first few movies.

Tobin and Shawnee have such good on screen chemistry. There was no reason they got rid of Amanda very early into the franchise.

There’s a 6 month gap in between saw 2 and saw 3/saw 4 so i think it’d be cool to have a movie covering that time period so we can see what happened between Amanda and Hoffman and why they dislike each other so much

Tobin Bell needs to return also in Saw 11! The man is in his 80s, so he needs to keep doing Saw films as long as he's able to before he can't do any more.

I would love to have a Hoffman v Gordon film, but I doubt Cary Elwes is going to ever come back to the series.

I don't think we need a Hoffman origin film. Saw 5 told us everything we need to know about him. I would love to see more of Hoffman and John working together and learning to trust each other, as well as Amanda working with Hoffman, but I definitely think Saw 11 needs to be more focused on Hoffman. Maybe bring Diego back as well! Of all the new characters from Saw X, I'd absolutely love to see more of Diego after helping John and surviving his game.

The first thing hoffman did in that bathroom was reaching for that hacksaw. I also love how Dr. Gordon kept his promise to Adam. He came back and brought someone with him.

I feel like casuals would get confused if they make a sequel to saw 7 and would prefer a sequel to saw x. but the hardcore fans would love either one. so the fans Will definitely be split and it would most likely get mixed reviews. If they want this franchise to be successful they should possibly break the timeline like they did with Halloween or make a couple more prequels. I personally want the next one to be a prequel, with Hoffman and seeing how the conflict between Hoffman and Amanda started. And hopefully in saw 11 we get some questions answered. Ps. Honestly, I'd prefer a continuation. Saw X worked well, but I think trying to do another midquel is kinda pushing it. I'd have to really suspend my disbelief, especially because so much of the timeline has been covered with flashbacks and stuff. Regardless, though, I'll watch anything with Hoffman, continuation or not.

I think that it will be both scenarios. Past interaction with John. And it will show us if Mark got out of the bathroom for sure

Saw X was pretty good and I liked how they told Amanda and John's story specifically! It made me really feel for John and I rooted for him 100% but if Saw 11 does indeed happen, it would be nice to either see a direct sequel to Saw 3D or maybe in between Saw 2 and 3 if possible showing Hoffman's side more. Saw X did leave me with more unanswered than I thought, thats my only slight complaint about Saw X. It was awesome to see Hoffman even for 2 minutes! I'm loving the theories you guys are coming out with! Can't wait untill more!

Hoffman pursues Lawrence Gordon (addressing several unanswered questions from Saw 3D) to discover the 'Cult Of Jigsaw’. Hoffman obtains a list of Jigsaw Survivor Group members from Bobby Dagan and tosses him off a bridge. Hoffman kills Brad and Ryan who helped Lawrence kidnap him in Saw 3D. Cecilia asks, "Who are you?" Final Twist: Fisk (who was fired from his job long ago) shoots Cecilia in the throat having tracked the Jigsaw murders since Saw 1. Fisk has been obsessed with Jigsaw since Detective Steven Sing was killed in Saw 1. Fisk leaves Cecilia alone in a pool of blood and money to end Saw forever.

After watching Saw X, I think they could continue the story of X, keep the timeline but we follow Hoffman during the events of 2 to 3, they can recon stuff and or correct stuff for the fans. and if they do a 12th movie just either continue the pattern of filling the gaps. but my idea is in Saw 11 do a Hoffman between 2 and 3 and end the movie with him breaking out of the bathroom from saw 3D, and if the fans like it they can do a sequel to 7 "3D" just a thought

I think they could do a more in the present type of saw,Cecillia is after revenge and is in a proper mess,obviously finds out what John has been up to since he left does some digging and is after the man that help John

I think what direction they go depends on whether they think Tobin bell is vital to the success. If they can come up with a strong script and utilise Tobin for flashbacks, then I think a sequel to 7 would be the way to go. But if it’s Tobin that’s crucial to its success, then they’ll have to do another prequel film but I think it gets a bit tiresome, I mean how much more can they cram into the timeline. As a long time saw fan, I’d prefer a sequel to 7 but the script has to be very very good.

I'm one of a few who is not a fan of Hoffman the end credit scene was cool yes but when Hoffman saying "that's epic bad luck" I was just like... Of all the lines you come up with that? Not to mention mention that I'm more curious to find out how Hoffman and Amanda works together because from Saw 6 there's absolutely no explanation as to why Amanda and Hoffman are so Fierce towards one another oh, yes I know about the letter that Hoffman left for Amanda but that's besides the point.

I think you’re forgetting one thing about Logan. Recall what he did to get back at Edgar and Halloran for his wife’s death? Yeah, I’m pretty sure he’d feel the same way about Hoffman killing Jill. So no, I doubt he would side with Hoffman, hence why I theorized that Logan was one of the pigheads that helped Gordon. As for Hoffman escaping, they literally provided the easiest way to get him out. By confirming he had been in that bathroom before Saw 7 (which I had suspected years before Saw X revealed it), knowing Hoffman, he probably put something in that room in case he got stuck in that room. Think of it like the ending of Saw 5… at first when Strahm throws him into the Coffin, he acts like he has been defeated… but once Strahm picks up the tape and realizes his mistake, Hoffman then smirks at him. So in turn… he could then have been faking his reaction to being trapped in the room. If he was that concerned he wouldn’t have tugged at the chain before trying to grab the hacksaw. Instead he’d have grabbed it immediately and been able to get to it long before Gordon got to it. So he instead tugs at the chain, then “attempts” to get the hacksaw, it’s taken, and he acts enraged at Gordon… but after he closes the door, he pulls out a light and smirks, then frees himself and takes out Gordon. Crazy? Yes. Fitting of Hoffman’s character? Absolutely.

the thing about a direct sequel to saw 3D is that they would NEED cary elwes on board, and with how cary has recently responded to questions about returning to the franchise i don't think that's happening. plus, saw 3d closed off the chronological order of the franchise pretty well in my opinion, the ending was really good

I would say them not doing leaps into the future, they might be soft rebooting saw. Meaning that at the time of the movie 2-spiral never happened so maybe they aren't Canon anymore?

I think there are two possibilities for the ending of saw x it will be a special feature in the DVD release or the opening will pick up where saw x left off then jump to the time in between 2 and 3 and introduce more cut/not well known traps I was hoping for an iron lung trap. There's still so many things that they can do with the story and even more so with the traps. They could do a Anthology series with each episode focusing on a character, the trap they're in and why. It would be a great way to use any unused trap ideas/concepts if they ever wanted to not make a new saw movie

I see saw 11 being a direct sequel to saw X centered around Hoffman and Amanda. Then saw 12 a saw 3D sequel with Logan saving Hoffman from the bathroom. Honestly it’s hard to think of anyway possible for mark to get off of the bathroom in the dark without someone helping him

Hoping for a yearly release again to at least wrap up a mid-quel trilogy before moving on to the future without Tobin. They can really use this opportunity to explain more and address why Amanda and Hoffman hate each other more, develop John into more of a Villain as opposed to his Anti-Hero role in X and explain why Amanda turned into the cold hearted killer she did in 3. There is a 6 month gap between 2 and 3/4 so they can definitely do one or two movies set during that time or at least one more before 2. Hell, there is nothing stopping them from using a plot device of saying Johns cancer is in remission after X to explain why there is a bigger gap between the mid-quel movies and the original trilogy.

Can you imagine, Logan and Hoffman working together as an evil alliance team with Dr.Gordan in the background keeping them in check and having a new apprentice on Gordon's side? That would be a cool Saw movie to see.

I doubt a Possible Saw 11 would touch Saw 7. I think if they ever make that part 2 that was planned all the way back in 2010, it will truly be the conclusion to the series. Which seeing how they finally hit success after the past 2 films, they are prob not thinking about ending any time soon.

A slighlty older Corbett Denlon frees Hoffman from the bathroom. She has attachment issues to Hoffman after he "saves" her from the Gideon Meat Packing plant and refuses to believe he was in on it. Maybe he initiates her into the work as his own apprentice.

Saw 3 and 4 take place at the same time, if anything it would be between Saw 2 and Saw 3.

I think my twist was better … We see Amanda saw 3 scene played again and she’s off to kill Adam We then see footage of someone following her that night That person goes in and revives Adam and swaps him real quick with detective tapps decomposed body He puts shackle on the right leg by accident Then we see that Adam took pics thru the films and was part of it We get the post credit scene and then after that we see the bathroom after saw 3D We see Hoffman go to “adams” dead body and he pulls out a key We then see it was him who freed Adam That’s what they should have done I’m a huge saw fan and seeing that post. Hoffman + Nelson Vs. Gordon

The only way I thought Hoffman would escape was to use Detective Matthews gun (Empty I know), dismantle it and use the spring to pick the lock. But then I don't think he would have been able to reach it.

If they can make a Hoffman film, and make it right, it would really help amplify Hoffman's journey through Saw's 3-7. I don't think I liked him initially, but on re-watch, he's a fun, despicable slasher. Who, actually tends to take Johns real 'people need a chance' rather than Amanda's trap killing spree. He also, is a stone cold killer, he straight up murders lots of officers, as well as Jill Tuck's face. It's be great to see more Tobin whilst he can perform and act. I know they didn't think things through with Saw 3, but, he's still a gem. The one thing I really missed in Saw X was the oldschool style video introductions from Billy the puppet, I wanted a bit more of that creepy face the victims see before their traps.

Ok hear me out …. Someone mentioned a final saw movie (once we get there) that is what everyone wants (a game w all of the apprentices) but overseen by a mystery jigsaw that ends up being Carlos the kid from saw x! Originally I was like no? What? But then i thought about it… and it works. But add one final layer: have Hoffman be the final survivor obvi, but the cop trying to finally shut down this game should be the adult version of either Daniel Matthew’s (Eric’s son who went through the test in saw 2 and whose father was essentially tested unfairly by Hoffman) or Corbett Denton (the daughter of Jeff and Lynn from saw 3 who Hoffman took the credit for saving but whose parents both died. Both Daniel and Corbett have emotional investment in Hoffman personally but on a multitude of complex layers. But also they would be a direct opposite parallel to Carlos, who saw x set up as a young character sympathetic to John and witnessing that his methods maybe can “work”

Give us a Gordon vs Nelson movie! Gordon cleans up all the imposters to seal it all up

Not sure why the love affair for sequels with Hoffman. It will eventually happen, but the Saw series is so successful because of Tobin and need to continue his story. Any true fan and the producers of this film series know this. Hopefully it goes back to one film per year.

They should rewrite the time line. They should make a movie on the alternative where Eric Matthews passed his test. They showed the alternative with the first trap so what if..

They can definitely call the next one saw 8 and saw x and spiral and jigsaw and continue on 8,9,10, etc!

Apparently Whannel and Wan have executive production credits on X. The fact that Adams corpse in X looked nothing like him and had a nice bloodstain on the abdomen, rather than right shoulder. The Adam alive theory is not going away, whether people like it or not.

I would love to see a story that focuses on the little girl that was at the end of Saw 3. Remember her Dad failed and killed his own wife by killing Kramer. He never found his daughter because of that. Lets continue that story.

We don't need a MORE emotional Hoffman role just because X did well. It was good for Jigsaw, but it was not the fast-paced Saw we need again. To me, the most exciting part was the scene with Hoffman.

Saw X was a great surprise. I'm conflicted about them doing any more. Something to be said about going out on a high note. Maybe do an alternate timeline ala Halloween that picks up after Saw 2 and ignores the rest of the franchise haha. Amanda lives to carry on Kramer's work.

I think a Saw X direct sequel film focusing on Amanda (with Hoffman as a secondary character) between Saws 2 and 3 is inevitable. And then a second sequel to cap off the trilogy with Hoffman after Saw 3D, with Logan and Pederson returning.

It’s a masterpiece. Tobin bell and Shawnee returning. I was getting sick of the apprentices take on jigsaws “legacy”. This finally felt like a true Saw film. This was my favorite in the franchise (besides 1).
