To make handles out of it, is a very useful idea !!! Years ago I bought something similar in Japan; it was not granulate but in a little block like Fimo. If I remember well, I bought that product because of KZfaq-videos from usa and I am really happy, that you found a similar product in Europe. 🙂

Wowsers Steve ❤ Absolutely love this video. What a game changer this will be. I can see myself going into nursing homes and and doing this for the residents who need their forks, spoons and knives made ergonomically for them. Also for myself with many tools. Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all ❤ Take great care of yourself you are so very needed in thousands of peoples lives ❤ Keep creating and smiling. You can never think of anything negative even if you force a smile. I smile all day and laugh out loud in my sleep. My dog sleeps all day because I keep him awake all night. ❤❤❤

It really is great for people who have various problems with their hands, and it's so much better than buying 'one size fits all' adapted cutlery and pens. It can also be good on some keys to give a better grip. It really is so versatile, and it can enhance people's lives when used to adapt everyday items that can be difficult or painful to use. x

Back in the day Friendly Plastic was pretty much on the shelf at any craft/art store. Came in pellets and colored strip pieces. Now a days, "poly pellets" or "thermoplastic pellets" is a pretty generic term for them. Some brands are a little expensive, but, because you can just re use over and over I'll excuse that lol 😁

That's called "Friendly plastic", it's better for art/jewelry applications. I suggest actually "dipping" your tools (a different process) and would be cheaper and more comfortable. Friendly plastic has been around forever! They used to sell it in kits on QVC many many years ago.

I've also seen similar products, and they're interesting for sure. I'm thinking you could use it for stabilizing the ends of your phone charging cords. I've been playing with a moldable putty/glur thing called sugru. I'm impressed with it so far, but it's too expensive to use in bigger things. And it takes a while to cure too.❤

I’ve bought something very similar many years back at Radio Shack (looks to be exactly the same but with a different name). I never used it, but it’s still here in a drawer. Very cool to finally see it in action. Would have never thought to use it to make a hand grip or to replace a handle

Hi Steve! (And everyone else who might read this! )👋 I would love to know how this product held up as a handle. I'm going to buy some - using your link of course - so I'm curious if the heat from your hand warmed up the plastic enough to either loosen it from the knife and/or file, and/or got misshapen enough to be unusable. I have loads of other ideas to use it for, but it would be awesome if you saved me some time on any 'handle' creation. TIA 😄
