I’m so glad I found your videos, they have made my life so much easier to look at my scooter troubleshooting and what to do if it quit working. I had a Drive 4 scout and it had intermittent problems with 5 flashes. You recommend I check the connections from the front to the rear of the scooter. I didn’t realize it had tabs until then. I didn’t use sanding cloth so I used acetone/nail polish remover on all the connectors to front, rear, battery and terminals on the battery connectors of the scooter. They were carbon up a little. Works like when I first got it thank you vary much!

Great vid got any experience with a jazz power wheelchair got a problem. The unit charges the front battery fast the rear trickled but is getting power . Got a new battery but the charge indicator on the arm shows half charged.and shows(!).clicks when trying to move but nothing. Any ideas would be awesome thanks

Jazzy 2 scooter worked fine. Parents put it away in bedroom and batteries completely died and couldn't be saved. I installed new batteries and now scooter has power but flashing 8 times. Today I will make sure the scooter is not in manual but is they anything else to check. All plugs appeared to be connected correctly. It was working fine until batteries went dead and now doesn't with brand new batteries. Thanks for any info!!

hi....put wifes shopper scooter in shed for awhile like you said now not charging,her scooter takes 2 large batteries very heavy indeed...but you said try car charger to put abit of life in the scooter batteries....i do have a 6amp battery charger could i use that to see if it puts any life in the scooter batteries...as the charger does say charge rate 12v 6amps...so would this charger be ok to try?thank you....your videos are very helpful..keep up the good advice..👍

Are control boxes interchangeable as long as they are the same series? I have an s series d50745.01 that I think might be bad. My scooter doesn't do anything at all when I turn the key on. Absolutely nothing. No beeps, no lights, absolutey nothing.

Hi I have a celebrity x sport 8mp mobility scooter I'm getting flashing code 3 pause then 1 it only works when I leave the batteries unplugged overnight but when I charge it its starts flashing again when I try to use it I'm getting power to the electric brake

hi tom my mother in law has buy a scooter of some 1 and it has bein standing in a barn for a wile it get power to every thing but wen you press the throttle or the revers leaver it will not move eney ideas what cud be the problem

Hello, I have a question, I have AGM batteries with 200 amps in my mobile, I live on the mountain and when I go shopping to the doc, etc., I need a lot of energy, I've heard that the lithium batteries are better and last longer on the other I was also told because I have to ride so much incline that the lithium batteries in it are not the best (they could catch fire etc.) I am also concerned that the lithium batteries last longer. I divide the price of this battery by the durability! :-) The AGM batteries are good, I had gel batteries in my mobile before and they broke after a year. Your videos are really informative! I recently recovered my Grandmothers Midi XLS which was bought brand new in 2012 and then since 2013 it's been unused in the garage. She has asked me to get rid of it for her. I bought replacement batteries which have worked, however I have noticed that on the lowest speed setting in particular the scooter struggles to move at all. In medium to high speed it works normally. In your opinion will this be the speed adjustment pot, potentiometer or the motor brushes? Thanks

Thank you for your videos.I have a problem with a mobility scooter which suddenly stopped running. The scooter is engaged from the electric brake, the motor runs in forward and reverse making a gear grinding sound at high revs and will not move. Could it be the electric brake or are we having problems with the drive gears skipping?

Hi Tom, Wondering if you can give me abit of advice please. i have replaced the ignition barrel on a Strider ST1. it was a 2 wire ignition barrel, so i replaced it with a cheap generic ebay barrel. Now the scooter will power back on but the blue light flashes. would this be due with the new barrel? do i need an exact make/model barrel replacement? could possibly be anything else? any advice would be greatly appreciated. Is it not possible to simply un-seize the brake rather than replacing it?

I’ve got a rascal eco which kept on blinking 7 times I’ve changed the speed pot the light stopped then but when I move off somethings it will move sometimes it will blink 7 again

so why cant we just free up the stuck electric break rather than replace it?

When I turn the key on it don't nothing comes on it won't even turn on or nothing I turn the key on nothing comes on no lights don't run or nothing batteries are fully charged and I've only found one fuse and that goes to that switch that goes up on the hell all the scooters has on top in the kitchen on the outside Master button to reset it just can't get no juice I checked all the wires and juice going through the wires and stuff even wrote it three times and turn it off I had my phone on charge I am plugged the shirt and plug my wire from the charger and scooter off and then on next floor and I went back out and turn it on it wouldn't do anything

Mine doesn't work has non of these and I push all round the estate
