thank you for the video i had the same problem with a shoprider one of the wires had broken on the back of the scooter only found bye using a multi meter i was on ebay before buying stuff like ecu and othert stuff if i had of used the multi meter in the first place it would of been a cheeper option

great love your videos very informative . i have a shoprider with a similar problem . . turn the key on and power light comes on and no beep . but as soon as i operate the paddle . the scooter gives off a 1 second interval beep and will not work . how ever i can turn the key on and off afew times and the fault will dissapear and the scooter will operate as normal . then some times when i stop the fault will reappear . but not all the time . I have checked brake and motor as per video . also checked the throttle pod checked all harness connections and can not see any hing unusual on thr harness . I notice when the fault occurs and i operate the paddle . the relay in the controller does not click and the break does not click either .

Hi Tom, I have a rascal, no light faults and batteries good,when I push forward I can hear the motor spinning but the scooter does not move? Same with reverse? Any ideas, going through all your videos now to see if anyone else has had the issue. Thanks for your videos

Hi, When you showed the testing of the electric break using the multimeter, it was not visible where you were testing with the probes. Are you able to explain the test if possible with a video, to see where the probes are placed.?. Your videos are very very good, it has helped me to test various things when a problem arrives.😊👍 17:29 something else I have problem with is, when I undid the tiller head to replace the ignition switch, I found two wires not connected anywhere and with tape around the ends, looks like it was done with tape you heat up, done at manufacture.?. The horn buzzer also sounds when wires are moved about, does this sound like a short circuit.? 🤔😊

I've checked all fuses, and reset switch which is brand new, and still nothing. I checked the brushes and they look ok

hi there, do you know where i can get the wiring diagram for a shoprider gk9? someone ripped the head unit off and all i have is 6 wires that come from the controller. black, red, blue, yellow, orange and green i was watching one of your videos on the 5k pots needing to be in the middle at 2.5v so i figure the controller is programmed to switch from forward to reverse by the pot voltage. i just cant find the diagram that tells me whats what

Can you help me? I have a new Metro mobility scooter and it won't move. I have power & I'm not in free mode. When I try to move it automatically brakes & beeps. I don't know what to do.

I have a sapphire scooter and although ok most of the time but there are occasions it sometimes does an emergency stop. I will now move when i turn off the key and back on again. It will then start and travel a few yards but does the same again within a few yards. Other days it goes with no problem.. when it does the stop it sounds a beeping sound until i go through the procedure of turning off an on again. Please give me a clue. I returned to the shop where i bought it but they couldn’t find a problem apart from a small stone in the battery connector which the said my have been the cause. I was told the i have more problems =scooter than any other customer with the same scooter. It is about four years old.

I bought a veleco scooter over a year ago it had been stored in my daughters garage while I wanted to be rehomed into a disabled house I had it brought over in March and I can’t get it to work there is nothing when I switch on iv charged it overnight still nothing any idea what could be the problem? I’m so depressed not being able to get out and about as I can’t stand or walk for more than a few minutes.
