Finally a damn Sytrus tutorial, I have no idea how to use it and I've been watching your videos for a while now. Hopefully this will teach me.

Those who are curious, to reset a knob in the matrix with a click, hold down alt and click on the knob to reset to 0.

Dror Bazer Hm, don't some have one that acts as a scroll wheel but not as a button? And I don't think many track pads have it.

Is it just me or did the 30p videos look more crisp? I'd very much prefer higher image resolution over higher motion resolution...

Thank you for the video, very helpful. I have just one question. How do I turn off the arpeggio in Sytrus? especially when I load, the pre-sets that have it on, having trouble controlling it.

Thanks for doing the guide on sytrus, while i am kinda familiar with sytrus's layout i have always avoided the synth because i found it confusing to navigate. i am going to try make a habit of using it, even if its just for subtractive purposes.

I just bought Ozone 6 and when I play display my ozone while playing, there is no problem. When I open my piano roll and play the track, My Fl studio lags. Does anyone know how to fix this? It only happens when I have Piano roll open.

What if I wanted to use a dimension expander like the one of Massive? Is Systrus capable of that too or what effect plugin would I need?

nerdexproject You can use the reverb unit in the fx section of sytrus for the same effect as massive's dimension expander. The reverb unit in sytrus has even more controls to shape the sound than the dimension expander has.

how do you get that basic sine wave preset as your default? when I load up mine it always comes up with some synth string sound, and no presets for default sine wave

KuchiTaisho Sytrus needs an update though. Last one was in like 2004. even Massive got an update the other day ;p

Massive is made by Native Instruments which only makes plugin-related stuff, and some hardware, Image-Line only focuses on making a good DAW which received a pretty nice update too ^^

Hazel Disks Next to the X on the top of the window, if you right-click on the arrows next to it, you can see a bunch of presets which you can choose from.

Musicians can be just as impatient. Like when you're playing, and mixing and engineering the audio in a live setting, and they are asking for all of these sounds/effects in an instant. My solution was custom presets for each egomaniac. 👌
