In this video I give my Sebo Felix Pet a Valentine's Day makeover by replacing the exhaust filter with a heart design. I also demonstrate the cleaner in use on carpets, pet hair, upholstery, stairs and hard floors and show you how easy and clean the dirt disposal is with a bagged vacuum cleaner.

Aww I love your Sebo videos. I'd never even heard of Sebo until I watched your channel - and none of my friends had heard of it either, only Miele. After watching loads of your videos I ended up getting the Sebo K2 and I love it. I love the look of the Felix, it does have a lot of style! I would also really love to have that power head. One day I may get the Felix, it looks like such a satisfying machine to use!

Hey from Australia really enjoy your vids, I purchased a Nilfisk VU500 last Friday and returned it on Monday as its way to heavy for home use I pity the poor room maids in the hotels having to use one everyday, Also I was also shocked to see it was made in China for the price. After watching your vids on the Sebo Felix I have ordered the Rosso red one and excited to try it out, Keep up the good work and videos Cheers Mat.

Thanks for the video. Is there much difference between the X series and the Felix other than the hard case on the X series?

The X series has a 5 litre dustbag but the Felix has a 3.5 litre dustbag. The Felix has a manual height adjuster whereas the X series adjust automatically.

I have a Sebo X4. I cannot use them on hard floors so I have to use my Dyson upright for the hard floor and Sebo X4 for the stairs thanks to its long extension hose and turbo stair tool. I am disabled and find it really hard having to use two hoovers in a three-bedroom house. Lugging the Dyson up on the stairlift to do the carpets upstairs and changing to the Sebo for the stairs before changing back to the Dyson for the hard floor and kitchen. I am yet to find a hoover that does all three things as required.

@@dave8484able I did but then I realised that all it was doing was pushing it into areas I couldn't get to. Put the Dyson on it and it was like coming out of the dark. I had to empty the machine twice because I realised where the sebo had pushed it all to.

Thank you for showcasing your Felix. I know it's your most recommended as a daily driver. I really want to pull the trigger on buying a new Sebo. I found an old late 90s machine that's a re-badge (Kenmore) of one of the older automatics, and the thing is built like a tank. No play, no squeaks, and that's after a decade cleaning a restaurant. Only problem is it's only 600 late 90s watts. So two questions for you Mr. IBAISAIC (Roger). One, does the Felix feel as substantial as an Automatic X series? Two, at 590 pounds (800 USD) would the Felix still be your pick as a daily driver? My current daily drivers are a Sanitaire/Electrolux Tradition (carpets only) and a Shark DuoClean Powered Lift-Away (bagless, flimsy/squeaky). Hope you can enlighten me.

I have 1982 Hoover Junior with a 300 watt motor and a 1994Hoover Turbopower with a 600 watt motor, both of these cleaners have out performed modern vacuum cleaners with 1400 to 1600 watt motors

@@macraghnaill3553 I have a 480 watt Hoover Decade 80 that works a charm. Unfortunately the Sebo/Kenmore doesn't have the same oomph as your Hoovers for floor cleaning, and the hose suction/airflow leaves something to be desired. My 600 watt Kenmore/Sebo barely pulls when edge cleaning with the hose. Don't get me wrong, on lower pile commercial carpets I'm sure this machine is great on low pile rugs as it creates a pretty tight seal with the floor. With my deeper, plush pile I want more airflow. I'm guessing a new Sebo with 1000 or 1300 watts here in the US is probably more in line with my cleaning expectations. If I get one it will be replacing my Shark as a daily driver when I need a hose or to do hard floors. I'll still be using my dirty fan Sanitaire with it's vibragroom brush to deep clean my carpets.

Don't confuse 'more money to buy one' with 'expensive'. I'd say the cheaper ones I've bought over the years have been expensive, because they've cost me time (less efficient) and money (changed carpet sooner). Time I won't get back. Like many things, you often get what you pay for...
