** Mike has finally been able to get seeding at the north farm and its still quite damp to say the least 😆.
Let's see this 2 track pulls in some muddy conditions 🤔

Puts triples on Ernie and pull an old ground drive drill -might get you into those wet spots. For the really bad sloughs, I’d go with a pontoon boat with a ATV fert spreader bolted on the back. Chapel and Ashtyn could come along and cookout on the pontoon. 😅

I get the idea that the 2-track is hindered by the grouser design, it doesn't look as aggressive as R1 the tire lugs. ( Let alone R1w or R2. ) All a trade off I suppose, just like 45 degree [tire] lugs are better in wet climates as they self clear better, and 30-35 degree are better for dry land. A hell, just get some full grouser-height steel tracks, would pull anything as long as you never road it. (And the hinges can wear faster than rubber.)

I recommend not using a heavy harrow on low spots, just turns it to mush and can not air out. My recommendation is a salford 2100, hit the wet spots with it and a couple days later with good sun and wind and you will seed right up to where you worked

I don't know the normal weather there, and its leased yes?, but would it be economical to put in parallel straight line ditches say every 400 feet(some multiple of implement width) for next year? Not a full tile job(not sure how that would stand freezing anyway) but it would still speed bulk runoff by a large margin to allow planting with fairly short dry spells.

Good way to get rid of hiccups is to sit down, bend your neck and head downwards as much as you can, as if you're looking back at your stomach and drink some water from a cup not a bottle over your top lip that's now the bottom lip, hope that makes sense but it works!

Mike, if 2-tracks are so poor at pulling in the wet, what advantage is there in having them? Crawlers pull very well, so why don't 2-tracks? Great video and very different land to south farm. Really enjoy these videos as it keeps me up to date with farming around the world.

I used to get hiccups a lot. A friend insisted I try her remedy. It's weird, admittedly, but I can stop every hiccup event as soon as it starts. In fact, I almoat never get them now. Soooo, assuming you're not diabetic, eat 1 tablespoon of white, granulated sugar, followed immediately by a glass of water, drunk straight down. Weird, somewhat disgusting, but effective.

Not even close to economical. The closest to that that could even be considered would be to grade what is already there, but even that would not make much sense on leased land. Grading is common where flood irrigation is used, especially for high value cropland, also before planting orchards for harvesting reasons.
