** So in the past Mike hasn't had the best results seeding directly into the grass but in saying that he has always done it down south where he's moisture limited.
So now Mike wants to try seed into some grass for some comparison reasons, and yes it is now sprayed.

I am an avid viewer since more than two years ago (can't remember). i have to be honest that watching your last video i thought Mike pooped the bed with this one . I am sure seeding green is going to work much better for you especially in high rainfall areas. Check out Derek Axten, Ray Archuleta, Nicole Masters and so many more ( pm me for more on no till seeding, soil health and soil aggregation if you are interested ). This is why i respect you. You are always open to experimentation and you aren't set in your ways! Respect. A farmer has a finite number of seasons in him/her.. so we have to make the best out of them and learn more so our children get a head start.

When my niece was about the same age as your son, the only thing that would calm her down when she got too cranky was sitting on the porch swing and watching for tractors working on the neighboring farms. It wasn't her first word, but "traktur" was in her first five. Several times, I had to bundle her up tightly to be able to keep her outside more than a few seconds since she was so much smaller than "Unka Bent" and far, far more susceptible to cold temperatures.

What we usually do when we seed into grass is smoke it good with burn off and then give it a couple good drinks of roundup over summer. That’s why we always put canola on grass.

I've had that exact same track slip happen in a 1st gen Challenger 75. once, when I turned in some really slimy mud, it got between the wheel and the track and wouldn't clean, but it didn't become a problem until I was actually just out of the mud, and thus I was stuck on dry ground. it was really discouraging.

I feel like the traction surface on the JD tracks is not very well designed, sure it offers decent flotation and a smooth ride, but the lugs are not aggressive enough. I found that seeding into long grass lost a lot of N, as the grass rotted down, you need to borrow a herd of 1000 cows for a week or two. That is the most incredible seed drill, it can do almost anything. I was wondering if you could put a desiccant in with the roundup? I am going to follow this with interest, I suspect you are not the first to do this up North but this late? Are the rivers full, too full for the Ferries? We normally get a wet and warm winter or a cold dry one but this year is wet and cold. Thankfully we are close to a pacific island for some heat.
