Love this illustration!!! Things that inspire me are things in everyday life, my brain is often thinking about how I would draw/paint/colour mix things/animals/people in my environment! That and all the other wonderful artist out there 😊

Oooh, what’s your favorite tea?! I’ve been really into spiced ones this week, usually adding a dash or two of cinnamon and/or nutmeg to my mug in an attempt to make it even tastier.

Meow Meow Kapow I love spiced teas! I’d share a teapot of that with you! My current favourite is a teabag of chamomile and honey with a teabag of raspberry leaf. They balance each other out for a brilliant soothing pre-bedtime brew 😴

I STILL haven’t tried chamomile tea, despite t being one of the most common ever. No idea why! But I lovvvvvvvvvvvve fruit teas; a large portion of my stash is herbal in nature and largely just dried fruit. I’d be down to try some raspberry chamomile some day. Sounds delightful!

Meow Meow Kapow if it wasn’t occasionally helpful with my sleep routine I probably wouldn’t have given chamomile much of a go 😝 I definitely prefer it with something else hehe

Hot dang, I second my own thought that you should be creating doodle-finder coloring books. Seriously. As for the Eve Bolt style, well, that could be a new pop band sensation, right there. _"Hey, did you get to see The Eve Bölt Style last night... totes awwwesome, broski!"_ But in all seriousness, the idea of taking your hoarder stash away, is well... unthinkable. lol! Wonderful video! And yeah, that Eve Bolt... Catastic. :)

I am personally offended by that quote from Kon Mari that says something like “you should only have 30 books” because it makes my heart clench and my stomach churn and my brain just completely flatline. Impossible. IMPOSSIBLE. They all spark joy. Not all of my paints spark joy and I should totally get rid of the duds, but I feel bad throwing them away and would feel even worse passing them on to someone who wanted something of quality. My niece gets a lot of dud paints. =>...

@@MeowMeowKapow not for nothing, I bought into my iPad a couple of years ago (I now have an old iPad 2 from 2011 that I play games on and watch movies... it needs to be plugged in at all times, so it's on my nightstand) and an iPad Pro/Pencil which I connect to my Mac and use Astropad to edit all of my professional work (it acts like a Wacom, but allows access to the entire Mac, too). I rarely draw on my iPad anymore, because it's cumbersome, tricky & quirky, and often apps crash in mid stroke. Also, the battery drain is ridiculous when using the Pencil, as the Bluetooth drag heats everything up and sucks the life out of the iPad. I wanted it to be SO much more when I invested in it, but lo' it is just another device for me to _constantly_ maintain and update. sigh. Traditional art is my life, and, I think, your's too!

I loved your doodle! ^^ The old man looked like an old sailor to me. If you were to choose just three of the PWC paints you have to use as a limited triad, would you choose your cool tones only or would any of these colors be included? Also, hello, Bubba! I hope you're having some great naps today. ^^ My cats are currently recovering from the great weekly spook that is the apartment complex's lawn mowing guys coming by on their loud, riding lawn mowers. >>

Oh gosh, Bubba also hates the scary grass men, on their giant angry yelling go machines. They’re scary! Also, one time they hit a rock and cracked the windshield of my junky’s car alllllll the way across. But they paid for the repair cuz it was their bad. I think I’d choose the cool-toned primary if I could only use three colors, but possibly swap out for the yellow in this set rather than the lemon yellow I chose initially, only because the lemon yellow is SLIGHTLY opaque, whereas the aureolin is entirely transparent. Though I’d say it’s less cool-toned and slightly warm if not essentially neutral. I prefer my cools, but I’ll take neutrals too. The red and blue from my initial selection are complete perfection as far as I’m concerned.

@@MeowMeowKapow I'm glad they paid for the repair, at least! Also, that triad makes perfect sense to me! ^^ Follow up question: if you had to make a limited triad out of your PWCs and that green was mandatory, which other two colors would you choose to compliment it? ^^

My ferrets would like Bubba to know that he is looking way to comfortable and needs a good pouncing! I can tell you liked that red brown by how much you used it on the old dude with a turtleneck sweater! When you really like something you tend to keep playing with it. Glad you are enjoying the paints! But what about your classic M Graham paints? Do they not bring you joy any more?

=>.>= m graham has never been my favorite, actually. They’re a paint that I’ve come to an agreement with, but which have never been an instant love. BUT, the same was true with sennelier, which is now one of my absolute favorite paints. Also, please send me your ferrets so Bubba can have friends! =>.
