The online store , Wet Paint (or Painters?), sells this lityle tin. They are by Richeson. And, the Watercolor Essentials by Daniel Smith set has a perfect set of the primaries in both warm and cools versions, leaving you with two more colors of your choice to add if you use an eight well tiny palette. So glay you are having fun! Love your paintings and the tension pocket. Have fun

Faber castell actually makes a clutch pencil that has a sharpener inside of it. It's called the Faber Castell Tk 4600.

Hellos. Jose from Puerto Rico. Yeap... I like these lead holders and I've got a couple of them. Even the stubby Koh-I-Noor Versatil 5311. I recently got a GraphGear 1000 mechanical pencil set and 0.5 mm 4B leads. I love to draw and I can't get enough of these things. Oh.. and I also got some over-engineered Japanese sharpeners. So I guess you're not alone.🤣

Thanks for this. Funilly enough I am not looking for one to draw with, technically. I am in my 40's and studying mathematics. I prefer pencil over pen when I am working and I have been trying to use a mechanical pencil and it just snaps so much.

Oh my gosh I have that exact same orange clutch pencil, I love it so much so I've held onto it for years; but I couldn't remember what brand it was because the writing on the side wore off. I forgot I used to have one of those spinny sharpeners too

This is amazing! I’ve not thought of a better way to keep my swatches with my palettes AND to keep them neat and unmarred to boot. Thank you. I’m going to grab my packing tape now!

I'm not an artist in the traditional sense. I've been working on making my own sewing patterns. I need a thick led pencil that I can erase. So I went on Amazon looking for pencils. I bought some of those preschool jumbo pencils. They are good, but I thought about mechanical pencils. I found a cheap set and so far I like them. Maybe I'll drop a few dollars more and get a quality clutch pencil. I didn't even know they had a name. I feel like my whole life of 55 years I missed out on decent mechanical pencils. The 0.7 don't work well for me. I usually press hard and break the led. I have a sketch book to figure out my sewing ideas. I just wish I could draw better.

I collect clutch pencils and my favorites are the 5.6mm leads in the e+m pencils, Kaweco, and Worther brands. These companies have colored, highlighter, and metallic leads for this size too. I love thick leads that don't break easily, 1.0mm and over, and I prefer the softer leads, 2b and higher.

I'm 15 and its took about 9 months for me to get diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia. It sucks having this because my brain just kind of.... Shuts down completely, but my body would be awake. Its like the two were fighting, and my body can fight back for a little, but eventually i just pass out. This is the first video ive seen thats actually described what ive been going through fully, and i thank you for that. One of the meds that i've been on has worked, however i lost 8 pounds in a week, so im off that medicine now 😅. But thank you for making this, i feel heard finally.

Thank you for your fab swatching. To be clear, Miyazaki may have used this palette for sketching, but the actual anime frames were painted with poster paints ( eg Nicker) before digitizing the image. Poster paints have all the attributes that are needed as you mentioned, are more like gouache but much more fluid and not so portable and suffer from poor lightfastness.

I knew about the spinny sharpeners and clutch pencils, but did not know some of them have booty sharpeners. I like the idea of them, I like the way they feel in my hand, and they make sense, but I'm afraid I'm too attached to the lacquer-coated graphite sticks to abandon them for clutches. I'd have to get a bunch of them for each hard/softness of lead. Doable, but I probably won't. Maybe.

Didn't know about these until I got a huge one in the jazza sketch pack. Now I find out they come in other sizes and colors? And booty sharpeners?! I have to try these. Don't know if they'll ever replace my pentel 0.5 mechanical, but they aren't always the right tool. Thanks

Fun fact! Everyone that owns on of those Kum long point sharpeners will also know those can also sharpen these, and it turns them into some of the most sharp lead I have ever witnessed. If you love both lead clutches and sanguine, charcoals etc... a Kum long points are a sturdy way to keep utensils in in good conditions. I would advise doing some research since for a sharpening aid the Kum is expensive, but it's results are amazing.

I just cant get enough of these. ... I have more than 20... 30 (Steadtler, FB, Koh-i-Noor, Linex, Rotring, Caren d'Ashe etc) but every time I find one in a store, I just have to have it. I like the "normal" mechanical pencils, but I draw "pretty" with those, but with clutch pencils... I become an artist :D The HM 500 from UNI is my favorite. .. Love the long heavy metalgrib

I was diagnosed with IH about 2 years ago..Never had any problem with sleep beforehand. So about 2 years ago when I started to experience symptoms of IH I was worried to death that something was like seriously wrong with me. Lol I had never heard of IH at that time and like you said I thought Narcolepsy was like what you see on TV. Lol.. Anyway, before this gets much longer lol, like all of you I suffer from IH Daily! I hate to admit it but it controls my life even with a prescription medication from my Dr.. What hurts me the most is the guilt I feel to my wife. Shes been amazing throughout this new way my life is now, which is a huge change for her as well. 20 yrs together and the last 2 years have been extremely different for us both. She understands and knows at times I have very little or No control over it. Yet it breaks my heart for her to all of a sudden have a completely different Husband now from how I was our previous 18 yrs together.. Lastly if anyone reads this.. Ive read so many comments from people living with IH or Narcolepsy saying that they feel like their life is over.. or they have given up on life. Suffering from IH obviously is very difficult but you MUST and can still find happiness and a Purpose!! The times you're awake try and make the very best of of that time!! Whatever you do dont ever give up on yourself and family and Life!! Life is harder now but life is still precious and we only get one!
