@@bkilg2509 agree, these are clearly the best parts of the show (because Corrections is in a class unto itself) although the interviews are cool to witness a host who is able to make all his guests feel so comfortable... even the famously introverted ones seem to visibly relax around Seth. First Seth a correction. I'm a Geographer in GIS (GeographicInformation Sciences). The Faroe Islands would not work here. While in some danger, they are not technically "going underwater" like Tuvalu will be very, very soon. The pace Tuvalu is is quite shocking - to the point where the island is being recreated in the Metaverse while it still can be. The Marshall Islands would have worked however. All of this is obviously horrible. But I guess don't worry Brian. Being a Geographer, I laughed hysterically at your joke and woke my husband up! 🇵🇼

I thought the same thing when he said the Faroe islands. Mostly because they're rugged and have huge cliffs on the coastline, but also because they're on the North Atlantic, which thanks to the oceanic currents wouldn't be a place where more water would be easily noticeable. Instead of Tuvalu I would have gone with the Maldives, as they're certainly the most often cited when it comes to sea level rise destroying entire countries, or other atoll and coral reef island nations like Seychelles, Mauritius or Micronesia.
@TonyYarusso

Brian was absolutely correct to go with Tuvalu, as it is VERY vulnerable to rising sea levels - much more notably so than the Faroes.

Yeah I love that seth gives credit. For the longest time, I had no clue that hosts didn’t come up with all the stuff on their own. I mean writers makes sense, I just think they should give credit more often. Colbert like never gives credit and he has a ginormous staff. And Trevor gives credit to his correspondents, but not to his writers which is why I had thought he wrote everything. Obviously I still love Trevor and he comes up with standup and can be hilarious off the cuff, I just don’t see why he (and other non-seth hosts) don’t give their writers credit. It’s not like anyone would think less of him. If anything, as seth has proved, it would make us think even more of the host

Ok so Matt’s Tahini joke was great!! You know Tahini is paired with falafel often, so it was kinda clever. I liked it 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

Everyone is onboard for the Frasier joke. It's 18 years after off-the-air, and 20% of the audience says that they'll likely get a Frasier reference. That is really, really high.

Correction!! The Faroe Islands would actually be much worse for this joke since they are quite mountainous and not in existential danger from sea level rise. The Tuvalu choice fits well since it is actually in danger of disappearing. But perhaps Micronesia or the Maldives would have had better name recognition while also fitting the criteria for being flat islands in danger from sea level rise.

I loved the Marris joke and totally got it. As a writer Matt obviously knows comedy in a diverse way considering he's much too young to have seen the original Frazier. Then again... I'm old.

so...first the wardrobe dept makes a cameo on Seth's 'AI Rant' bit earlier this week... then he shows up wearing a blazer the next day !?? idk, seems like it's the Wardrobe Crews attempt at slowly moving him back to pre-covid-suit-wearing Seth. We're onto your little game Eric, Donna, Meg and Susan !!
