Are you supposed to use International compound "peanut butter" on the threads of the head bolts?

How do you change injectors in a RE international no room does that rear dog house come out in tha bus

I noticed that your torque technique is a little different from what my manual instructs. My manual for my 2002 DT 466 says to torque in the same sequence as you do, but to 100 lbf.ft then go to a 130 lbt-ft and the rotate each bolt 90 degrees (1/4 turn) Am I doing this right? Or does your way work better? Thanks

Hey Joe, shot in the dark here but i have a 1995 DT408 190hp that had a knocking issue, that i had consulted you on, a while back. Long story short i found that the #4 connecting rod spun a bearing. I plan on pulling the crank shaft to have it turned down, however the connecting rod is toast. Its been down for months. I CANNOT find a replacement rod for the life of it. Tried through navistar. No luck. I was hopeing you or any tubers may know of a place to find it. (Part # 2599987C92) ANY info or source would greatly be appreciated! Thank you, Thank you!
