This authentic Shahi Mixed Dal is great for vegetarians and as a side dish.
Ingredients
100 grms Masoor Dal
50 grms Urad Dal
50 grms Toor Dal
50 grms Moong Dal
5 tbls Ghee
2 Onions
1 Green Chilli
2 Cinnamon Sticks
2 Black Cardamon
4 Cloves
2" grated Ginger
3 Ground Tomatoes
1 tsp Turmeric
Half tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 & Half Coriander Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
7 Cups Water
Salt to Taste
For Tempering
5 tbls Ghee
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
6 Cloves Garlic Chopped
3 Green Chillies Sliced
3 Whole Red Chillies
1 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
2 Stalks Curry Leaves
Green Coriander
