Sherline cnc lathe with live tool

4 жыл бұрынI put a Sherline lathe on 45 degrees with servomotors of all axis, I made automatic bar feeder, a piston for part catcher and 90 degrees high performance spindle for milling, works with Mach 3 and many brains, macros.

Wow, thats a impressive setup! Does the barfeeder have a long pneumatic cylinder in it to push the bar along?

Hello Stefan, the bar feeder was made by me from 30 mm aluminium tube.

this is epic...subed! how are you pushing the stock out after unclamping? Is it a weak push and you're just running the stock out without encoders until it hits the parting tool then reclaiming it?

It was made in pandemy, with Mach3 which you can do everything you want, I don't know much about Masso.
