My 94th unique shiny for my Gen 3 Living Dex - Lairon
I decided to target this beautiful shiny in Emerald's Victory Road (BF1) with a level 40 repel trick combined with Magnet Pull. The encounter rate drops quite a bit but White Flute helps out. I mixed it up between the encounter styles whether to bunny hop or bike normally. Bunny hopping is slower but the hunt becomes more mindless.
The entire Aron line have amazing shinies. I hunted one for my Ruby DTQ a few years ago but I couldn't pass up this opportunity to get one of the line in the middle stage. Very fun hunt but keep in mind it knows Roar and Hariyama knows Whirlwind. It's a tricky area to hunt in.

It’s being nearly a month since I’m shiny hunting for Zweilous in black 2. I did some shiny hunting in the next games where the odds were split in half, but boy am I losing my mind with shiny hunting full odds. You may think that less than a month is not much but I’ve been Random encountering at least 800-1200 per day. (Yeah my mistake was not taking the actual count after a while) And I’m getting really stressed out. I’m definitely over odds and I don’t know if this will be one of those cases where I’ll go up to 30k encounters. You really have my admiration for going in hunts much more difficult than mine with no certainty about what or when you’ll get something. I’m definitely using the wrong mental approach for this, but man how I feel annoyed.

Awesome video! So fun to see an emerald hunt for the living dex! I was wondering about fixing my own sapphire version to Torchic, but I don't know if the battery works! If it doesn't display the "battery has run dry" message, does that mean that shinies can appear? I'm new to fixing GBA batteries

I’m hunting for a Trapinch in white 2 through repel trick Actually wonder one thing: am I supposed to save after an unsuccessful shiny hunt session for the game to register the amount of encounters or should I not? I usually don’t save whenever I used huge amounts of repels with no results

Makes no difference. Don't save to keep your repels. It's all random as the seed is randomly generated when booting your game up.

Thanks. A phase is a shiny. If I got Golbat, that'd be phase 1 for Lairon. I got it first phase though.

Whats ur opinion about Emulator hunt with a little fast forward only cause most of famous youtubers show the time when they find the shiny or their using a file witch lowers the chanse

I don't really care either way if you hunt on emulators. If you want to speed up, no one can stop you. It's absolutely not the same as doing it with normal speed because it removes the grind that shiny hunting is supposed to provide. Shinies are meant to be rare and worked for.
