What a treasure the world has lost. RIP and may you continue singing to the angels above in that beautiful voice. I knew you were special as soon as you sang the first note, but that was absolutely amazing and perfection. It brought tears and goosebumps and even a lump in my throat to hear such a wonderful rendition, and then once completed to smile and nonchalantly walk off just like the crowd. BUT no, you're different. You've a gift and I'm pleased you were able to share and I heard you 💓

How could anyone in a world of hip hop jungle beat, screeching pop, and awful modern welps squealing into a microphone not be moved to tears in the presence of such vaulting tones? Thank you... you made my day... i will be hearing this in my head and heart all day

When it takes very little effort..the art-form is fleeting..rap,hiphop are just childish fun hardly like jazz or blues in terms of effort or creativity.. Opera..like fine art/wine this music takes talent, time and technique..yrs of effort failings and successes...for the sheer beauty of it....Quality takes time ...this guy is quality.

We are so lucky to have the fantastic Opera North based in Leeds. I heard Rojas in the much acclaimed 'Andrea Chenier' in a previous season and he is currently playing the lead in Verdi's 'Un ballo in maschera' which is touring the north. Catch it while you can!

At our little campground in the woods nestled between two ridges in the Tn hills, I was talking with a guest whose friend casually said she was a soprano. I asked her to sing for me...and she blessed me with a performance of this song. I stood there and cried...I was so moved by the beauty and purity of her voice, the astounding volume, and the breath-taking sound echoing off the wooded hills around me. Her voice drifted down the creek to the campers in remote places, who stopped in their tracks and wondered at the haunting song carried on the October breeze. I have never, never been so blessed by a unexpected and God given gift in my life. She was trained by a student of the great Pavarotti himself. I have never been given such a gift; and I will never forget that amazing morning in the Tennessee hills at my little campground in the middle of nowhere.
