*IMPORTANT*
Yep... another copy/paste job for the description. =P Oh well. Deal with it. ^_^ It's not like much has changed.
The original Finale NotePad/PrintMusic 2008 file, along with the MIDI track and most of my other arrangements, are available for download here:

I may upload some other arrangements I've done based upon how well this does. This includes some Mario and Legend of Zelda songs. =)
*DESCRIPTION*
This is an arrangement I made using a MIDI file of Siege of Madrigal.
I would like to point out a couple of things before you guys start critiquing it.
1) It is currently a MIDI file, as I have not yet been able to a real recording/performance of the piece. I apologize, but it's all I have so far.
2) Yes, the key is funky... I had to change it so that the range was do-able for the Trombones; the original target group. A friendly key is also nice. =P
3) This song is free for you all to use on your own. I hosted it here specifically for that purpose. Please don't flame me too bad for trying to be helpful. =P
And of course, if you decide to try it on your own, feel free to experiment with it. See what makes it sound good. If you can as well, post it on KZfaq as a reply. I'd love to see how well it is performed. =)

Looks like you are using Finale! My favorite program. Imagine if some of the classical greats had something like Finale to work with!

It's not a bad job at all for a midi, but really the true beauty of this piece comes from the surreal feeling the choir tones added to the piano solo in the 2nd half. I think Whatchamacallit1345 is right, mixing the two together might work well Just a thought :3

I invite anyone to try and do that, adding some choir sheet music. I've never personally worked with choir to be able to write music in those ranges.

@Sonic70o Trumpet is alot shriller. Personally, I think the French Horn has the best sound of all the brass instruments

@MortalKombatVeteran Personally, I felt that C sounded a bit more poetic than it did in Bb, so I left it as such. Plus, I wanted this to be closer to the original, thus the key of C.

@NSZachP i just think it sounds kinda low to me like this. i like the sound of this up an octave or in bflat right below that

I love the arrangement, but I think that maybe the first trombone should have been more mezzo forte then piano. I felt it was too quiet and melded into the second and third trombone parts too much. Unless it's my speakers, but it's beautiful nonetheless. Wonderful job :)

just thinking, maybe put the 2nd and third trombones in pianissimo(pp) and 1st trombone in mezzo piano to get a stronger melody. idk, just seems right to me.

I have the tempo here to be 51 bpm for quarter notes... or about 96 bpm for every eighth notes.

Meh... it's kinda awkward for Trombones without triggers... low B Flat in 7th position. =P But yeah... I also copied and pasted almost that entire comment thing from another of my vids... I changed the keys there. =P I'll remove that little bit then...

51 bpm = quarter note. Which means if you were to divide the measure into three quarter notes, the tempo of those notes are 51 bpm. 96 bpm = eighth note means that if you split th measure up into 6 eighth notes, the tempo of those notes is 96 bpm. Really, the tempo should of been presented as eighth notes and dotted quater notes. As dotted quaters stick to the 6/8 pattern better.
