Sorry i wasn’t clear… For me when my training load has increased say at the end of a 3 week block it seems like my body’s sign of fatigue is rather than rhr increasing and/or HRV going down The opposite happens… so for a long time I thought I was ok (or maybe I was which is why I’m asking) But actually it was signs of fatigue. My rhr would be around 36-38 at night dropping slow is 34 and HRV 130-40ms at night sometimes 160s But it would happen acutely after a hard session. So in regards to body battery It might say 100 but really the measurements it uses to produce that might be a sign of fatigue? Hope that makes sense Cheers

Cheers for the video What’s your take on this … When my training load goes up my rhr goes down (especially over night) and my hrv will go up to the top end of my range maybe higher So my body battery will always be above 95 if not 100. I never really feel fatigued and most of my training is low aerobic But it’s just something I’ve noticed And after watching this wonder what you’d think Thanks Dan

With those stats, you are KILLING IT! This is what all athletes should strive for. Once achieved, you can do just about anything training wise and your body will embrace and catapult off of. Keep up the great work!

How should these metrics change for older guys like me? I'm 55. I feel like if I tried to get so relaxed to attain those numbers I'd literally never be able to train!!

Thank you for your comment. This illustrates how you have programmed yourself to go too hard, too often. You will be blown away when you get completely rested, your performance will elevate with less effort. I have seen it materialize hundreds of times with clients over the years.

Been on the Garmin platform and following your work for a good while. How to you address the 45yr old that has only seen one 95 on the body battery per month? I dream of having the metrics of a 20yr old

Thank you for all your time following - deeply appreciated! 45 is a tough age because EVERYTHING is at full tilt: family, work, training, racing, finances, parents getting older, etc. See if you can back everything down one notch and see if your BB bumps up a bit. Keep me posted!
