Welcome to another real-time mixed media art tutorial! This is a start-to-finish video of the creative process I used to make several small mixed media collages on paper.
Materials used: 80 lb paper, acrylic paint, and collage paper.

Almost a year late to the party but I love it all!!! From making your own collage paper, to cutting it all for a new piece or pieces, it helps me more when I get to see the entire process!! Not only is it relaxing but as you talk us through everything you're doing, you are giving us the opportunity to learn new techniques, you encourage us to be brave with our own choices and allow us to feel proud of what we've learned as we create our own masterpieces. i think i prefer that you fast forward thru cutting paper. but i also enjoy your commentary while you cut! i sooo enjoy your videos. i'm learning so much from you.

I like the length of your videos as I am doing my own art while I’m listening/watching, so it’s good. I don’t have to keep jumping from one video to the next. I’m in the Uk

flat surfaces are meant for putting things on them. & no matter how many flat surfaces you have, they will become full of things on them :)

Thanks Diane! I like Canson mixed media sketchbooks - I believe they are about 140 lb paper ☺️

Hi Jackie, another lovely video, watching the replay in Wales in the U.K. I’m learning to enjoy the messes, thank you for the encouragement! I’m using really yuchy colours at the moment, individually lively but combined really horrible but I’m going with it, it’s clearly challenging something in me 😂 It’s all alchemy!

I like what you do, however your Camera angle is always pointing at the wrong place. It does not show what you are doing.
