So in your opinion, sport bike is the hardest bike to master?

Very important to be in control of the bike in any situations, inkluding slow speed manuevrs at parking lots and in traffic. But also in high speed driving.

Would you consider getting an insta360? It would help a lot with seeing your body position out in the twisties 👍🏾

I have the same bike, except I have an Austin racing exhaust and ECU flash. People who don’t ride don’t understand how difficult it is to ride in parking lots. Riding at slow speeds is very challenging because these bikes just want to go. They want to move. They’re not meant to drive slow. Anyone can pin the throttle and drive in a straight line but it takes skill to be able to navigate through a tight, busy parking lot, especially one that has many turns.

I can not understand why anyone would say that's impossible. Well, unless they're looking for excuses to remain average. I've seen Motorman (Jerry Paladino) videos long enough to have heard the old, "Sure; your bike can do it, but my bike can't" routine many times.

So the two times I tried to use techniques universal to a more upright bike, on a sport bike, I’ve fallen immediately. The one time I accidentally did it right, the way you explained, I didn’t fall, but I didn’t know I was doing it correctly. It’s discouraging practicing a very high consequence thing where failure means injury and cost. Whew!

Im getting a Honda CBR 650 at the start of next years riding season. Ive been accustomed to Slow speed - roughly 40kph turns on an MT 07 for the last two years. It's pretty scary to drop the bike. I just did a test ride on the Honda last saturday - and the feel from the sitting posture is very different. Plus i was too chicked to try it on the Dealers Demo bike because if I drop that thing - it'll cost me over 1000 Euros at least. T_T

When I am in full lock, how do I get up the bike as I have no space to counter steer?

More speed will give you more centrifugal force and put the bike straight up. So more throttle or less clutch

I've never really needed to use full lock in order to make very tight u turns on my cb300r. I do practice all the same techniques of counter lean, controlling speed with the clutch, and the occational bit of rear brake. And with all that I find myself doing uturns in around 1.5 parking spaces. Admittedly the cb300r is a bit of a cheater bike for low speed maneuverability with its wide handle bar, sub 300 pound weight, and generous steering lock. I probably should make a point to challenge myself further and actually turn the bars that extra half inch or so.

On the initial first turning left you were not looking where you were going but away from the turn to where you had come from. was that deliberate or not as all the other turns that you did you were looking in the direction of the turns. You were using counter balancing all the time together with counter steering and that is a major help as you were doing speeds that require counter steering. If you had been going slower then counter steering does not come into play yet you still would have gotten round at slower speed but using the counter balancing solution would you not.

How do u know when to use the rear brake during slow speed maneuvers? I’m so afraid I’m going to give it too much rear brake causing the bike to fall over
