SLX 780 Ignition Problem

14 жыл бұрынThis is a video of what I assume to be an ignition problem on my 1995 Polaris SLX 780 jetski. Was out for a ride on Saturday, came down over a wave and it just died and would not restart.
* NO spark on all 3 cylinders
* Checked resistance to the stator, all within spec
* Cranking voltage at 14.2
* Grounds are clean and clear
* No obstruction in the jet pump
* CAN NOT hand turn drive shaft with jet removed ??
Any ideas? something seized or is this an electrical problem....CDI box??

Just finished up 2 Jetski rebuilds 1996 SL 780 & SLX 780 I replaced the stator and Ignition BOX ( which is in the CDI ) and got a spark and it to work ( SL 780 ) Steps id take to spend the least amount of money on fixxing this is 1. Take out the main board in the CDI (Yes unplug it all and unscrew it ) Now Just the board its self Put it in the oven for 10 mins at 300F and see if you get a spark 2. replace the Ignition BOX 3. Stator

Hi any ideas why one would start and run fine out the water but wont run in water. Cheers

I have the same jetski with the same problem... is it a fuse? Broken Starter? I need help too
