You know, i am Lebanese and live in the country. From all the crisis going on in my country, i am hating life in it. Living right now in the country, by having your salary in Lira is really hard, it's like living in hell. Everything is so expensive, medications are scarce, covid everywhere, no electricity, water shortage, it just sucks. After playing some of your new videos (which appeared to me randomly), you re-ignited my love for this country, and that despite all the "bad things" going on, this country still IS beautiful. Thank you so much, dear Emily !!! Love your content, plus you being a down to earth, funny, interactive, humble, and beautiful, in and out person, makes them so much more interesting to watch !!!! Take care of yourselves (Valentine, i haven't forgotten you :) ), and I hope you return once again. With all love and support ❤

This video is different from your other ones. You are now a woman showing off her own country. You are no longer a tourist. If I may add, you look like a woman in love. The Lebanese are enchanting in so many ways, they captivate you. I loved how Elio was teaching you Lebanon while you were reciprocating by improving his english. There are things we notice that you may miss in these videos because we are Lebanese watching. For example, when Michel addressed you in ways you only talk to a beloved daughter. Or when Elio called you Cinderlla in French. You are being loved by the Lebanese whom you meet. Yalla, Khalas Haki...

It is common knowledge that the best types of cedar and other plants are in Lebanon and Syria So there they make wardrobes for the bedrooms and others for the living room and guests It is the most expensive type of wood strong and durable Because it has a beautiful shape and also it is not eaten by ants and does not decompose

There are two trees in this world, they are like Adam and Eve The palm and the cedar We have here in Saudi Arabia a kind of cedar that grows from the ground and lives for more than fifty years without needing to drink water or rainwater. It just absorbs moisture in the air cedar tree which we have produces a fruit that tastes sweet and delicious The trees also produce honey It attracts bees and their queen produces oil produces shampoo for head washing agarwood cleans the teeth, gums, and mouth It does well and smells good It also has amazing properties on its paper The tree has a strange dark green color that changes every season of the year The dark green color attracts migratory birds that come from India or America Because the bird thinks that there is water near it because its green color is beautiful But when he lands, he does not find water there, rather he finds the fruit on the trees, so he eats from them and drinks the liquid inside Then before he goes he comes out what is in his stomach, something he eats from India, such as small seeds, and these seeds grow for a month or two and then die and have a very fragrant and sweet smell. Various colors and scents According to what is in his stomach The cedar tree also reflects the harmful rays of the sun It protects the plants around him from death reduces the air in an amazing way In the past, it was present in every home and farm of this blessed plant It works like an air conditioner to cool and purify the air

Why not Lebanon? Honestly there wasn't any particular reason why I chose Lebanon. I didn't even know about the financial crisis until I got there. When I was planning to go there, the most important thing to me was that it was open to Americans & wasn't closed to internal travel within the country (you know, COVID restrictions and whatnot). I also thought it would probably have an interesting culture & I like Mediterranean countries :)

You missed me, aww ☺️ I'll definitely keep them coming!! Yalla yalla! As for the best time to visit, I'm no expert, but when I was there during winter/spring (January-May) it wasn't too hot, and I loved that there was snow up in the mountains. It wasn't quite warm enough (for me anyway) to go swimming in the mediterranean, so if you're more of a water than snow person, I'd recommend late spring to fall.

So it is really helpful. I love your conversations and your observations. You hold the camera still and steady and focus on details as well as give us a big picture of your surroundings. You give us a full sense of what it is like to be there. Your voice and gracious attitude toward people makes the video a very enjoyable experience. Ty
