It's important to make sure the tires have the same air pressure so the machine can be level. I use paint mixing sticks for the air gap.

100% agree. I mistakenly edited that out. It isn't easy to relay what I'm thinking to words so the editing process sometimes is challenging and I redid the part that I previously had that in there. Good looking out! You must have a fairly large air gap using paint mixing sticks. Most people do not like any air gap so I try and keep it as small as I can. Though, you will need to adjust more often. Where we live, we do not get much snow so having a small air gap is not a big deal. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Yup..I even use a carpenters level to ensure the unit is perfect before tightening the bolts.

I was wondering, can you use a few quarters to make your air gap, if you don't have plates? Great video by the way. LOL I don't even have a snow thrower.

Kids say the darnest things. I accompanied my neighbor in his garage watching your tutorial with his 6yr old. When he saw your arm he gasped and asked if you hurt yourself on the machine.

Seen many a shave plate totally destroyed from not adjusting these skid shoes when they wear down. Does not take a lot of time but people today cannot be bothered
