#1 before even starting an old snowmobile that has sat. Drain gas, drain oil, replace fuel pickup/fuel lines/fuel filter/oil lines, clean carbs (disassemble, soak all metal components for at least an hour, blow out all ports with compressed air, reassemble). Add new spark plugs, sync carbs, put half gallon of premix in fuel tank, run until oil lines are bled of air, add fresh gas, adjust carbs for correct idle, braap.

I was rooting for you when you were pulling your heart out, I been there many times with things

If you tried running it with the watered up gas after you cleaned the carbs the water traps probably filled back up with water and should be drained again.

Nice. I was thinking after you blew air through it and wouldn’t start you had the fuel pump blew apart 🤣. But you didn’t, well done

Drain carbs and clean main jets and idle jets.

Try using non-ethanol gas if you can find it. Any sled that's been sitting awhile probably has water in the gas which causes all sorts of problems.

i put an air gun nozzle (the longer thin type) to the tank overflow drain hose.
