The toad at 25 min in, is a musical instrument. You take the stick, hold the large end and drag the small end across the toads back ridges.

The small dagger you showed in the Scottish box is pronounced Skeen Dooh. The writing on the badge (the emblem on the blade and handle) is written in Latin. Many Scottish Clan mottos are in either Latin, French, English or Gaelic (pronounced Gah-lik). Oh! And the "man-purse" is a Sporran. Typically worn during formal occasions, traditionally it was used to carry money, personal items, etc. So yeah, basically a purse. ❤️

Yet another interesting array of finds! I love the carved items, and the glass pieces are beautiful. The Scottish items...the scian dhu knife is worn down the sock when the wearer is in full "dress" (kilt, sporran, knee-length socks et cetera). The "purse" is the sporran. I was disappointed to see you only have one solitary duck🦆 remaining. I hope you can get that fox. 🦊

The wood toad with the stick is a sound toy. Rub the stick along the ridges and it should sound like a frog (if done correctly!)

The camp is looking really good! You should also move that pig trap away from your house. One of your videos you showed a a mud hole place it out by it! Give your fox trap time also. What you fail to think about is it smells your scent and it takes a few days to fad.

That frog with the stick is a musical instrument. You scrape the stick across the ridges on the frog's back and it croaks.

The blades are Scottish Dirks & Sgian Dubh, a blade worn in the top of the sock and the others look like kilt pins my hubby is Scottish xx

I used to remember the names of all the Scottish stuff, as I'm part Scottish. The knife you found is called a Dirk. The language spoken is Scottish Gaelic.

The man purse is called a Sporran. The smaller pewter pin the blue box is his family name motto. The pin was used to hold the family name color scarf to his shirt and kilt. I have one for my family name Comyn which became Cumming or Cummings. Since you definitely found the sporran and socks, I’m sure you will find a kilt and shirt too. The shirt is usually quite plain and loose fitting. The kilt could be worth a lot of money depending on the family name and the style. ie ancient, modern, Hunter etc.

that 1st knife you found in the box goes down the inside of the socks with the ribbons also in that box you do have a history there you might find his kilt as well

That wooden frog sculpture is a musical instrument. Hold the thinner part of the wand and drag it up the back from tails head. Kinda sounds like a frog. They come in different sizes for different tones. I have seen one as big as 2 ft tall!

I don't remember if the Vietnam Veteran was Army or Marine Corp. However, there is a Marine Corps Museum at Quantico, VA, and an Army Museum in Ft. Belvoir, VA. The Army has the newest one. I have visited the USMC Museum multiple times and see something new everytime. If you are looking for a place to donate and share those incredible collections, maybe one of them could help you out.

Awesome stuff! Pronounced Sang Duub. Black blade. All Scotsmen tuck one in their sock. It is an ancient knife from way back. I have a childs sporon. Got it at goodwill and couldn't believe it It looks to be the traditional sealskin fur. Those are illegal to sell now or make any more of them.

The wooden frog you rub the stick from the frogs belly back and fore on the ridges of the frogs back which makes a ribbit ribbit sound mimicking the frogs croak! ❤

You can make a duck float. You float it in the pond so the ducks can sleep so predators can get to them. Put like a dog house so they have somewhere to cuddle and sleep. It’s like a floating dock and weighted so it doesn’t float around

you need a bigger trap for that fox. set it so it DOES NOT trap it right away. Wait a few time before setting it to close. when the fox is comfortable with it being safe. Then set the trap to close when it enters

With your ducks you can build an enclosed for them to sleep in just like the chickens. In the daytime you can let them out to swim and eat bugs. Otherwise the fox will continue to have duck diner.

I think I would use that "gum" machine to hold chicken/ pig/ duck food. Like they do for petting zoos. You could even donate the proceeds.

Jeremy I don't think the Martinelli Apple Juice bottle is worth much of anything since they sell 4pk bottles of that size at Walmart right now. They also sell quart size (I believe) as well. That little urn was beautiful and so was the doggie. I am a huge animal lover and I would love to have the urn and doggie picture. I have three of my own pets cremated in my home with me now. I'm so sorry you lost two of your duck babies. Much love to you and George. ❤️❤️
