Except he may be wrong this time. Last names often came from occupation, so him assuming that “baker” has nothing to do with baking is surprising , I don’t even gotta look it up to know 99% chance its wrong

@@carsonhunt4642 It has nothing to do with baking in that instance. Neither Walter Baker nor his father James Baker had any sort of culinary background. Sure, if you trace their family lineage back one or two hundred years their ancestor might've gotten the surname due to being a baker by profession, but that has nothing to do with the naming of the chocolate any more than it would if their last name was Carpenter. It's not like the baking profession had been passed down through the generations all the way to James, it simply happened to be his name.
