Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Movie poster officially revealed along with several Easter eggs to the sonic video games. I give you my breakdown of the sonic movie 2 poster and the exact trailer date of the sonic movie 2 trailer. Sonic Movie 2 releases in 2022 and now we know Sonic & Tails will face off against knuckles voiced by Idris Elba . No Dwayne the rock Johnson or Jason momoa . Imagine a post credit scene: Robotnik walks into a room with a pod in the middle. He uses a computer to open the pod. As it opens the audience can see a a silhouette that mirrors Sonic. Fans begin to squeal. It is Shadow that appears from the shadows. The theater erupts of screaming millennials and very early zoomers. “ How long has it been?” He asks the doctor. “ Since 2001. Come on. I need you to help me crush some colorful pests.” Egg man replies. Shadow will return in Sonic 3

As a fan and SonicTuber myself I was very thrilled to see the homages in this poster alone The care they’ve taken with the film series in terms of being loyal to the series’ fans and it’s established lore is remarkable and if done right this film series could become as big as an MCU film

I remember seeing people make edits of Metal Sonic in the same style of the robots from the first movie. So the fact that the beebot is designed in that style really gives me hopes in the possibility of Metal Sonic showing up that way. Even if he doesn’t, it still intrigues me that in a way, fans have predicted how to robots will be designed.

I feel like we'll at least get a tease of Knuckles by seeing the glove like how we saw the pumpkin bomb teasing Green Goblin in the original No Way Home trailer, but I expect a full reveal of him for a 2nd trailer

With Tails being my favourite character from the Sonic franchise, I was so damn happy when I saw him at the end of the 1st movie with his original voice. And knowing he'll still be voiced by her just completely thrills me! I know this movie will be as good if not better than the first! They're doing such an amazing job and the poster looks incredible! Looking forward to seeing my little twin tailed fox showing just how awesome he can be in this movie!

I was watching this whole video with a big smile on my face. I loved everything in this poster, from seeing Sonic again, to him and Tails flying together, to Robotnik's new look, badniks, and eggmobile, not to mention the freaking TORNADO making an appearance!! I will die of excitement when the trailer comes out tomorrow!!! 🤩🌟🦔🦊

I really just hope that they use the storyline of this movie to create a scenario where they can adapt the Shadow and adventure 2 plot. Getting knuckles in the mix and introducing the chaos emeralds/master emerald, then maybe hinting a rouge here and there while maybe getting sonic captured by G.U.N at the end of this sequel to set up an ‘escape from the city’ opener in the third movie. That’d be such a cool way to retain your audience and set up for a nostalgia blast that’ll just bleed money from my pockets

I'm so goddamn hype that I literally have no words to express it. While I'm a huge Spider-Man nerd.... I'm a Sonic fan first and this has to be my most anticipated film of all time. I'd love the first movie, I basically watch it so many times that I quote it from word to word. Sorry I'm feeling all kinds of emotions right now.

Pretty sure they are having him use the tornado to have it so that he can transport Sonic around with him, so he doesnt get tired from carrying him. I'm thinking that Tales can fly for quite some time by himself, but when carrying someone his own size, his arms will probably give out quiker.

I was amazed at the poster and the characters are positioned almost exactly as they were on the Sonic 2 game box art. Also, well to me, Dr. Robotnik actually looks like he gained quite a bit of weight in the image if you zoom in on him maybe it's just me. I really like his new outfit and I'm ok if he's a little chunky in the body no need to go full rotund. Let the movie be its own identity while still following the source material. Overall I am excited to see what will be shown.
