I have always liked Sony, but now I like them even more. 😊

Disney is just killing itself at this point. Streaming is money getting pissed away and they want to end something that gives them money.

Until more info is released, I'm not going to jump for joy just yet. If Disney still has the final say in what does and does not get released or what film elements can be used, then I don't see anything changing. However, if that was the case, then I don't see how that would benefit Sony.

Like a true pro, out of the hospital and straight back into the recording seat. I agree this is interesting considering Sony put out some great transfers however I'm not sure Disney have really made anything in the last 10 years I particularly want to own or support.

Hello FanZcene Vids, I don't see this as a negative. Let's wait & see what happens. I view this as a small, but pivotal victory in the war against streaming. We got to take the victory; no matter how small it may be. It could be worse. They could have discontinued physical media all together.

Streaming contents sucks! I miss the days of going to a good Video store and pick out a good movie. Back in the day they made really good movies And made a lot of revenue in rentals. Perfect example Terminator two judgment day

I extremely doubt that Australia or New Zealand are going to get new Disney releases. That still comes out of Disney’s pocket. As far as new movies are concerned, I don’t see that happening right away. Disney has a track record of using other companies to put out the same releases over and over again like when they were under contract with Millcreek and Kino it didn’t release any real new touchstone or Hollywood movies just the same ones that got released before. And I have a feeling they’re gonna do the same thing with the Disney animated movies.

I shall NEVER indulge in wares bearing the cursed mark of DISNEY. Regardless of the artisan behind the creation, their touch taints all. Sony, too, teeters on the brink of damnation, nearly as foul as the mouse's grasp.

Hello, Greg. Now that Sony is taking over Disney's physical media releases, I hope that Sony would bring "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" and "The Orville: New Horizons" would debut on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD.

I love how Disney uses the pandemic as an excuse all the time and it’s been over for a while. The bottom line is the reason why they’re getting rid of the Disney movie club and they’re not gonna deal with physical media anymore and they pushed it onto another company is because of money simple they lost money. Let’s take it out on a consumer the consumer is very evil There to blame . One doesn’t do well who do they blame the consumer/movie viewer/fans/customers, they don’t blame themselves ever. Disney needs to get rid of their CEO planning and simple and then the people that are he departments you save some money right there because they’re making too much money for no reason.

Disney movie club I made three orders 14 Disney movie club exclusives Blu-ray and there’s some Disney movie club DVD exclusives that I’m looking at as well didn’t order those yet after Disney club closes down these movies are going to end up on eBay. They are already the damn flippers. Disney should just take all those Disney movie club exclusives and have Sony re-release some commercially but that would be too simple and of course is not gonna think about that

Until Disney hits rock bottom and hires new people/management, they will continue to destroy Walt Disney’s legacy.

People are overreacting. We know Sony does good work with transfers and releases. Disney is sitting on a massive vault of Twentieth Century Fox titles. Sony will release Twentieth Century Fox classic movies on 4k and many Disney classics. I trust them more to release 4k than Disney. The world is still round and will not go flat.

Disney still owes $12 billion to Comcast which owned half of Hulu did they pay it off yet who the hell knows. They keep owing money but yet they keep spending money 😂

Cancel all streaming services. Buy VPN sub. Sail the seven seas. Movie studios can go pound salt.

Disney sucks! I used to love the movies growing up. Old Yeller ,Apple Dumbling gang and etc. Disney Sunday movies were great and fun for the whole family ,now you have to screen it before showing it. I had lots of Old Disney movies on VHS ,stil do. Ill never buy any Disney that gets a revised or re release. They have the power to change their movies..but not my old copies! Cheers

It's not gonna work and what's the point anyway even if they still try to make discs your still gonna have to download them anyway because they're not putting any game installion data on the discs so that disc or cartridge or whatever would be useless pretty much at this point, without the internet again you have download them from the online stores xbox live, playstation network and possibly Nintendo!

This generation is really really soft and they get offended by everything that’s why movies and entertainment in general is so crappy. People that are offended by everything in a movie TV, show etc. here’s a thought shut your TV off go outside go do something you don’t have to watch what’s on TV 24/7 just to complain.
