The way Moebius is presented here is far better than in any other Legacy of Kain installment. The manner of speaking, and his blind-like look... and the way he utters that last statement... "All great movements require a few martyrs"... simply great. D.R.

Wow, reminds me of how truly great the series really are. And it still looks damn good. Good lip sync, and great facial expressions. Mobius kicks ass!

my god... it's been 2 years when i played this game and still i enjoy watching cutscenes from this:D Great Saga

and the dialogues in the game are superb...... and the reaver enhancement cutscenes too.... very nice camera angles.

Malek was the guardian of confict. He was a guardian. That's why in BO1, his helmet restored the pillar of conflict, after he was killed by Vorador in Dark Eden. At the same time, you both DeJoule the Energist and Bale the Druid...meaning you get to restore 3 pillars at the one time.

Mortanius and Malek were the other 2. And you have to remember, the 6 guardians were killed before Ariel was born...and therefore long before Kain was born...and Kain didn't have to kill the other 8 guardians until after he'd been turned into a vampire by Mortanius...so it's wholly possible.

You got that right, Moebius from this version looks better.

wen i start playing this game, i hv the feeling dat raziel has arrived 2000 years in the past to take some rest after killing his four brothers.... so i am appreciating the artistic beauty of the sarafan stronghold and of nosgoth in general b4 setting out to kill kain. nosgoth is so beautifulll...

Damn I forget just how good this game is. I used to play it all the time on PC. Got into LoK with the first Soul Reaver so Raziel was always the guy I rooted for. Plus the wraith-blade is just so cool. A living sword bound to his arm. I keep trying to think of other ways that could work in a fantasy setting. Like a magic sword bound to the user so whatever blade he takes up is the magic sword rather then a physical sword.

@SandrachenGaara There's save points throughout the game. There's also waypoints that trigger as you pass them. The world's much larger than SR1, and spans multiple points in time, so doing it any other way wouldn't work too well. :)

Pure Awesomeness

Mobius mentioned that Vorador spared 3 of the 9 Guardians. Who were the other two? Mortanius and Kain? Or am I missing something here? Also,Vorador attacks the Circle in BO1, but Kain still has to kill all 8 Guardians afterwards. How does this work out? Did the Pillars appoint new Guardians so soon after the deaths of the old ones?

Here is my opinion of the 3 games: Soul reaver 1-best powers Soul reaver 2-best looking raziel and graphics Defiance-best looking wraith blade and its enhancments.

Hmm.. how is it with the savepoints?? Is it so as in soul reaver one, that you always have to start at the beginning? Or are there savepoints in the areas?

Mortanius and MALEK? But wasn't Malek merely a protector of the Circle rather than a Guardian himself?At the end of SR2 when Malek and Mobius can hear Vorador attacking the Circle above, Malek was about to help them when Mobius held him back. That suggests that Mobius was Malek's superior(as he calls him 'Lord Mobius') otherwise Malek might have gone on regardless. The rest of it makes sense though, and it seems that the 2 intro cutscenes in BO1 were centuries apart.(I haven't played BO1 btw)

Lets not forget that Moebius is a gigantic fucking liar. They may have known each other, but close? I have a hard time seeing Moebius "close" with anyone.

It seems like throwing away all of this games eloquent mannerisms and speaking. The logic and the stupidity of the characters choice is irrefutably dumb.
