@@JGilly-cp1tk Aiwa's default out of the box eq settings are not set to sabotage their own product's sound quality. The point was just to play the speakers as they come. Even though they are not louder, they do have better sound quality indoors than the soundboks 2.

Interesting. I have the JBL Boombox and I notice the difference plugged in, but not with the exos 9. The EQ certainly makes a difference. This is more to show how they perform as portable speakers though with no outlet.

I’ve been jamming the aiwa for about 3 years now and don’t notice a difference plugged in

@@steve31785 thats because you aint educated with audio and dont listen for it etc you need to train your ears mad man also the equaliser gotta be maxed out to be fair on level as it reduces and increases its vol max being its full potential

The volume on the soundboks is much louder, it’s not even close. You’ll be happy with the output. Glad I could help.

You realise he messed up on this test il prove it when I get mine aiwa are much better when eq is topped off and volume max watch many other videos you qill see this man was paid to damage there reputation as many are

Dean o it doesn’t once it’s connected. Only thing I could think of is make sure that your phone is only connected to one of the speakers not both when you are linking the 2 together. Otherwise if your out of the 2 year warranty you’re unfortunately stuck with using a splitter with a wired connection.

@@steve31785 yeah I'm a service engineer and used to specialise in audio, and even I'm struggling! I've tried everything, using different phones, pairing indoors and outdoors, close together and far apart, trying different speakers as the main speaker, deleting Bluetooth profiles and pairing through NFC. Hopefully the next version will be better 🤞

Had the same Problem. Aiwa's customer service is great and they offered me new speakers several times. But no new speaker, update or alternative firmware was able to fix the issue. So I sold the Aiwas and bought an new SB 2 today, I think it's the best value for the money at the moment.

Nah that soundboks sounds like a mid speaker...... Drive your aiwa s properly and run a eq on it and you ll see the big difference..... If your running it from a flat source it sounds dead......

Soundboks is about 3X as loud as 2 Aiwa’s.

@@steve31785 nope thats not how decibel ratings work also use eq to max etc unless it's not a fair shot as its not at its max due to the soundbox not having a built in equaliser and there's not much difference from my point of view

@@JGilly-cp1tk I have tested them with full EQ. They do get louder yes, but the volume between the Aiwas and SB is still not even close.
