Tracy, need tips on growing Lobelia. Zone 9b here. Mine is in the ground with irrigation and looks very sparse.

hi, I never planted seed before …. questions 1) where do you place the box, in shade or sun? 2) how often you water the seed? thank you

All seeds are different. If they are surface sown then yes they need light to germinate. On the packet it’ll say. Pre moisten soil before you sow then just keep an eye on them. Just keep the soil moist. Not soaking. Some seeds need to be soaked in water before sown if they have a hard shell. If in doubt just Google the seed you are sowing. The containers act as a greenhouse.

I live close to Toronto as well. Do you put potato vine in hanging baskets? Do you find them hard to control? With bugs? Squirrels? Thanks for your videos
