Back in 2005 in Brighton a homeless drug addict was given a £1,000 overdraft. She went into the bank to open an account for her benefits to be paid into and they gave her an overdraft. She withdrew the full £1,000 that day and overdosed on heroin. Banks and credit companies would give it to literally anybody, regardless of their actual ability to pay it back.

Hannah agreed but unfortunately humans are visual creatures and many people will focus on someone's looks to get one up and make themselves feel more superior. It's a completely horrible and shallow way to be, hence why the fashion and beauty industry is worth billions. We're always being told by them how we are not good enough as we are but it's people choice as to whether they want to be controlled by it.

This was filmed in the early 00s. Most women in their mid 30s with kids still wear clothes from their youth (I certainly don't, I try and stay trendy because I realize how ageing it is).
@Billybloop
@Billybloop 4 жыл бұрын
@@shoeboxenterpriseslinda3151 Most people wouldn't be able to tell since they don't pay attention to detail but you actually look older than she does. People are subconsciously paying attention to her fashion choices. They are not looking at the details on her skin to look for signs of ageing. This is why it's important not to get stuck in your youth when it comes to your fashion choices. If you dress like an 18 year old girl people won't pay attention to your lines. Mutton dressed as lamb is a complete myth. I actually look my age facially (pretty much every woman does) and I follow the latest trends. I am also a bit overweight. People don't believe me when I tell them I am 32 and it's all because of my clothes, shoes and makeup and how I style my hair.

I think the moral we can take from this is that you have to confront your problems. Ignoring, hiding from them, or pretending your problems don’t exist, doesn’t fix the problem. You can use as many coping tactics as you want but if you don’t actually confront the issues then they can and will grow while you refuse to deal with them by using coping tactics to hide.

To be honest this is still one of the biggest things that keeps people financially poor. How many people have cars on PCP finance deals and after 3 years take the car back and get another one....keeping themselves in perpetual debt. Imagine if you took the £200-£400 per month car payment and invested it, how much money you will end up with. It’s just craziness.

I went to a therapist once wanting to sort out one problem, by the end she told me she thought I had many more issues that I originally thought.
