In Venom: let there be carnage post credits, venom was talking about billions of years of hive knowledge across universes, then they got transported and venom looked at Peter on tv and said "that guy". So that explains it for me.

I actually rewatched the end credits for Venom 2 and Venom says that the symbiotes as a race share a hive mind across all universes. So the Symbiotes know about Peter Parker and the spell was specifically every person, so when Venom shared a bit of his knowledge with Eddy, he learned about Peter Parker being Spider-Man

The Home Trilogy is MCU's Spider-Man's origin story. He had mentors, had family, but due to his irresponsible decisions (not hiding his identity that well, giving Beck the glasses, messing up Strange's spell and preventing him from sending the villains back), he hurt not only his friends, but also caused the death of his Aunt May. The death of a close family member/responsibility speech is an absolute point and cannot be changed. It's a constant in most universes. Peter learned in this trilogy how to handle his responsibilities as Spider-Man. I'm curious what the College Trilogy will be like.

This movie proved how good Andrew is as Spider-man when he has a good script to work with

Tobey Spiderman stopping Holland Spiderman from killing Green Goblin is more significant than people realise. Green Goblin dying from his own glider blade is basically what puts all the events in Spiderman 2 and 3 into motion including Harry's death so for him to have a chance to stop it, again even stopping him from being killed with the glider is like coming full circle for his character. I feel like that's Tobey's equivalent moment to Garfield saving MJ after failing to save Gwen.

I like to think that even though dr strange THINKS spiderman caused him to mess up the spell. It was actually the same moment Loki killed Kang and unlocked the multiverse. The multiverse did not exist until the end of the Loki series

I loved the joke about Toby’s back which was a huge issue when filming his later movies

A part I haven't seen anyone talk about was when Tobey came face to face with Otto again, they weren't enemies. They were friends it was so amazing. I cried in that scene

Can we just talk for a minute about the fight choreography, especially when the Green Goblin was smashing spiderman through the floors of the building? Was incredible.

I gotta say I SQUEALED of pure joy when I saw Daredevil! I was expecting the other Spidermen cuz of rumors but DID NOT expect that! What made that moment better though was clearly most of the audience in my theater had never seen or heard of Daredevil so not many people reacted but I’m sure it got them curious.

When Tom Spiderman is crying after Aunt May died and JJJ is tearing into him, one of the best scenes, the emotion is incredible.

I love how they even addressed how everyone thought Dafoe looked more evil without a goblin mask.

You know what I liked about this movie? -there was a lot at stake. -just simply the Multiverse being involved and Dr Strange. -there almost was no highschool bullshit involved (which I like ). -Ofcourse Tobey and Andrew too. -brutal fight scenes.

I loved the fact that Peter's Spider Sense still worked even when he was outside his own body was AMAZING! Strange couldn't even touch that box!

Sandman is actually on Dr. Strange’s side. He just wants to press the button as soon as possible and doesn’t want to risk losing his chance to go back home because Spidey was taking unnecessary risks. That’s why he attacks Spider-Man at the end. He wanted to find the box and press the button.

This movie was honestly a treat. So much good chemistry and vindication for Andrew's Spider Man. Him saving MJ and Tobey telling him that he was amazing was something I didn't know I needed. It really was a treat to watch. Seeing Tobey act like the Older Brother for them all and be the one with the most wisdom and experience. Tom being the still young kid brother of the 3. It was perfect, really glad I went out and saw this movie.

For the confusion over why venom was sucked in, in the comics they made it that symbiotes are a hive mind that can share information and memories through the multiverse so Tom Hardy’s venom could know about Peter Parker from spiderman 3

The reason for Venom knowing Peter Parker is Spider-Man is because the Symbiotes have a hive mind. I think it’s implied that because of the fight with Tobey’s Spider-Man and the venom from his universe, Tom Hardy’s Venom knows him.

I think that Sandman was just done with waiting for Peter to heal everyone and just wanted to push the button before anything else went wrong. He’s the only one who would survive and he doesn’t know this Peter so he doesn’t trust him enough to wait it out. The only weird thing is him not helping at the apartment but it might be that he saw things going wrong and he just decided to say fuck it and look for the cube.

Andrew was such a highlight in this movie, I feel like every emotion he gave was genuine!

When Andrew saved MJ I damn-near cried. It was so wonderful for him to get that win after failing to save Gwen.

I believe that after the Loki series happened the universes in the multiverse started to drift closer to each other. A memory wipe spell that earlier was pretty easy/safe to do became very risky.

I generally enjoyed this movie and it warmed my heart when I saw Andrew and Tobey. It was as if I was revisiting my childhood! I hope they make more!

I love the implication of everyone forgetting Peter Parker, it's almost like a total refresh. He's making his own suit now, and he can finally grow into his own outside of Tony Stark's shadow, which has been my biggest criticism of Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

A true love letter to Spider-man. The chemistry between the spidermen was so amazing that I wish we could have gotten more, but never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined a movie like this. One of the greatest superhero movies of all time

I love the scene when the battle is over and Tom is thanking the 2 other Spider-Men for all of their help. It felt so real because Tom wouldn’t be where he is today with his success without Tobey and Andrew paving the way for him. One of my favorite scenes

I bursted out laughing when they portrayed J Jonah as a Alex Jones type character.

Before I saw this movie I was in a place where I favorited Tobey’s Spiderman, still liking the other two but not quite with the same emotional attachment. After watching the film, I walked out with equal love and respect for each of the Spidermen. I felt strongly connected to all of them. What a fantastic film, and I’m very proud of both Tobey and Andrew for reprising their roles. I don’t think anything I say can truly capture the magic, beauty and emotional impact of the movie, but goddamn… It is fucking beautiful. What a film, indeed.

Watching this movie made me feel like a excited little boy again, growing up with the animated series and watching the Tobey Maguire movies. And of course Andrew Garfield bringing back his funny charismatic Spider-Man was a joy to see again and giving him his own redemption was so beautiful and emotional. The scene of them on the Statue of Liberty talking with each other about themselves and what happened in their own movies while their all in their OG suits has got to be my favorite scene in the whole movie, love them together, they’re such bros!

We all knew Tobey and Andrew were gonna be in this even when Disney kept trying to tell us otherwise. However, the way they treated them is phenomenal. I never was a fan of Andrew’s Spiderman but this movie really made me love him and say “maybe Andrew is my fave Spiderman”. This movie proves Garfield would be an amazing Spider-Man(no pun intended) under good writers.

At the end of the film all of the villains were rehabilitated BEFORE they are sent back to the moments where they left. This means that the lizard never kills Gwen’s father, and therefore this may have changed the fact that Gwen dies at the hands of Garfield’s version of the Green Goblin. Ergo, Garfield’s Spider-Man may return to his universe and discover that Gwen’s alive now.

The funniest scene was Tobey Maguire stretching his bad back I laughed for a solid 2 minutes

Garfield's redemption scene really got to me too. He needed that win, as he had been carrying that weight for some time now. He felt like the least adequate of the 3 of them. It made me also think about where each of the 3 Peter's are in their lives. Tobey is the oldest and has lived through his sacrifices and finally adjusted to them, while Andrew is still at a low point and hasn't been able to recover yet. Tom is only at the beginning with the sacrifices he has to make.

Seeing Matt Murdock in the MCU just warmed my heart so much. I absolutely love Dare Devils run on Netflix, it made me so sad when it was cancelled right after season 3 released. The Netflix Verse has so much humanity to it, to be fair they have alot more time with these characters to truly develop and take their time but even the types of morals and stories they tell are done so well, so mature like the same Matt that fought Frank Castle on that roof top, and everything is helping Spiderman, I honestly felt like Tom Holland should be bowing to him but of course that's not how it works, hands down the biggest surprise, the theater lit up ! It was so great seeing him and it hasn't been so many years to the point where he looks old or whatnot, him catching the brick absolutely flawless. Season 3 of Daredevil was phenomenal it was completely amazing from start to finish, broke my heart when they cancelled all the shows (expect Iron Fist) but damn this had me smiling from cheek to cheek.

Sandman wasn’t evil, he just wanted to push the button to go home. He didn’t care if he and the others got cured. He was impatient and when goblin started trippin he dipped. In the big fight electro tells him no bodies going home. Sandman is fighting to push the button.

Saw it on the first day and loved the crowd's reaction in the saloon for particular scenes.

For Tom Hardy’s Venom, the reason why he was pulled in was bc in Venom 2, Venom says in the post credit scene that he has knowledge from the symbionts hive mind that spans across universes meaning that Tobey Maguire’s Venom’ s knowledge of Spider-Man being Peter Parker is known to all symbiotes including Hardy’s Venom

My favorite scene was when tobey saved green goblin from tom about to execute him with his glider in a state of rage.

This move was perfectly done. All actors were redeemed from past movies! Doc ock and green goblin have so much presence when they are on screen, just shows what amazing actors they are. 👏👏

I think that sandman was shown in his first scene showing extreme distrust of Spider-Man. He almost immediately turns against him after he teleports electro. Now this makes sense when he turns against them during the cure scene since the whole situation kinda deteriorated because of gg and electro so I get it why he was doing what he was.

Man, Dafoe was straight up TERRIFYING in this. Also, Otto was MVP in the last act. Saved all their asses TWICE.

The duality between Toby’s final fight with goblin, and toms is I think underrated. How toby frozen an realized what he was doing back in 2002 and having to help tom realize that he won’t win if he kills goblin is truly a master class scene

Venom is a multidimensional hive mind so they are hinting that because at least one venom knows who Peter Parker is. In the end credit scene of Let there be Carnage the line right before they shift is "the level of multi-dimensional knowledge a hivemind has would blow your tiny little mind" said by venom

Sandman's motivation was 'send me home now, I want to see my family', I don't recall him working to destroy the mcguffin, only get it before the others.

When Tobey showed up, that was one of the best moments and when he tried to stop Tom from killing Green Goblin, that was such a good moment, no words, just that look

I love how when Andrew says "I Love you guys", he(Andrew) is actually saying he loves spiderman. Since he is HUGE spiderman fan.

The "venom plot hole" was explained by the symbiote hivemind that venom was explaining in let there be carnage that was said to be shared through universes

I thought it was explained that the symbiote is connected through all dimensions/universes? But that also begs the question, would it not bring the symbiote that interacted with parker and not the Hardy version 🤔

Andrew's Peter feeling redeemed by saving another Peter's MJ was incredible.

William Defoe was a fucking hell of a villain like always. He can carry the film by himself. Tobey and everyone else was magnificent. 12/10 for me easily

I finally watched the movie (obviously watching this one afterwards) ad we _technically_ got a Spider-Man vs. Sinister Six movie, Venom was just in the wrong location due to his holiday in Venom 2. It’s also explained by Venom in end of that movie that the symbiotes share a multi-universal hive-mind link, so what one of them knows, everyone does. I am confused as to how it left a piece of itself though; is it because a symbiote in another universe knows that PP is SP, just not Tom Holland’s SP? Maybe it’s a Venom spawn?

Im pretty sure that the goblin was holding a coffe mug when tom hollen webbed his hand to the wall with spidey sense

I burst out laughing with the “My Back” scene. It was great to see Tobey and Andrew again and all of those villains. I’m so glad they did this.

I found the film quite overwhelming. I didn't expect to be so emotional. Seeing the other Spideys, particularly Toby opened up a whole pocket of my memories from childhood. What a film.

I think the reason the symbiote was left behind was because it was to be implied that it’s technically the same symbiote from spiderman 3, because it knew who Peter Parker (Toby Maguire) was.

To my memory Green Goblin had actually pulled a knife from the Kitchen when his hand is webbed. Otto makes a remark about the Goblin persona being cured which causes him to take control and immediately take the opportunity to arm himself.

I was so excited to see Tobey and it was absolutely incredible to see him again.. but I gotta say. Andrew Garfield. Wow. His defeated nature and low self-esteem felt like a reflection of his franchise ultimately failing on top of being just ripped to shreds over the years. So the sheer amount of love and respect this movie gives Garfield was a class act. The way he saves MJ and the impact it had on him, that is the best moment in the entire film. Also loved how Tobey, not only the OG Spider-Man, but the OG super hero that paved the way for Marvel and all other super hero franchises to be what they are today, telling Garfield how amazing he is and that he needs to hear it and take it in.. just wow.

Peter’s choice to finally go through that selfless act of having everyone forget him is the lesson. When Strange tells him the results he just simply replies “I know”. He understands now that with great power comes great responsibility

I kept looking to see if Nicholas Hammond (Spiderman 77-79) was going to be in the film too. Saw an old guy at a bar or table and was like "is that him?" but it wasn't.

For Flint Marko's (Sandman) motivation as to why he suddenly change of behavior is because he doesn't want to be cured, he still want to be Sandman because he can do incredible yet immoral things with it and return to his universe so he is able to support his daughter although by doing robberies. Especially he is just an ordinary guy, so when Norman / Goblin said something like "gods can take whatever", Sandman became persuaded and took the role as a bad guy. At least that's my take for it.

I love how Tobey was the dad of the group Chill,encouraging the most calm and accepting of the situation Because he has been spiderman so long he has seen so much shit It's hard to surprise him now. Him motivating Garfield And stopping Holland were easily highlights for me Edit : I swear this comment had 3 likes last time I checked O.o

I was just happy to see Charlie Cox back as Mathew Murdoc, he was/is my favourite superhero on screen

They had a scene showing when Norman switches back to goblin. It's when he's talking to Otto and Otto says something like "You won't have to live a dual life anymore, you will be you." and Norman responds saying "Just me." but when he said that it was in the Goblin voice.

Overall theme of this movie just feels like Redemption. They had to redeem Tobey bc the 3rd movie was met w/ so much backlash, they had to redeem Andrew bc his entire stint as Spidey was met w criticism. They even had to redeem tom bc his best performances as Spidey werent in Hoco or FFH. And they redeemed all 3 beautifully to me

To be fair, strange had the time stone in infinity war, granting him the ability to see through millions of timelines. Here he doesn’t have it anymore

The thing about Peter wanting to save all the villains puts him in a interesting position and is a very Spider-Man thing to do. He ultimately succeeds but at great personal cost. Which again is part and parcel with the character.
