I was wondering when Jeff would change his mind about forgiving David. I had a gnarly brain injury caused by a “friend” and wasn’t mad at her for the first year. but as time went on and more complications from the injury started to show up, I started to resent her for not caring to check up on me or even apologize so I cut her out of my life completely . Jeff has every right to be angry with David. It blew my mind when he said they were cool in the documentary. Figured they would stop being friends after Jeff had more time to heal and find out what more his eye needed. Glad he’s finally done with David

Listen to people when they are hurting. I believe Jeff is depressed and we’re looking at someone that is having a hard time navigating through life…We’re watching someone who at one point felt like they were on top of the world who could get anywhere with his looks and now he doesn’t feel the same, when he did his series he mentioned how he let himself go and that contributed to his depression as well. Right now he thinks David is the reason for his own downfall and to see someone hurt you and now they’re living a greater life than they were when you were hurt it holds an uncomfortable weight over you. I hope he is able to heal from all of this most importantly mentally because he is obviously hurting and feels betrayed.

If i was jeff i would have immediately got a lawyer to make sure that david would pay for all medical expenses that would come out of this. Remember this isn’t the first time David has given a permanent injury to someone…

I dont personally think David actually did it on purpose but what I think Jeff is picking up on is the vibe that David (having always been jealous of Jeffs looks) doesn’t feel bad and might even feel some sort of happiness that he took some of that away from Jeff. if i can recall David has done something similar to a childhood friend where he threw a pinecone at his friend and it ended up getting infected or something but it caused permanent damage. It seems David doesn't actually care about ppl who aren't his immediate friends like natalie and Jason. Todd doesn't seem like the smartest of the bunch but it does seem like he is the most compassionate which is a far more valuable personality trait. I feel for Jeff. He is truly heart broken over David not reaching out. I think everyone can understand why Jeff's mad and hurt and frustrated and has all these mixed emotions. I can't imagine what he's been through, but I hope he realizes how lucky he is that he can even have all these surgeries(expensive) because if it was most of us, we would've been f'd, and left with NO eye and a deformed face. I understand what David is saying, Jeff is a strong person and it is hard to navigate how to be sympathetic when Jeff is tough love type of personality, but then again Jeff has a reason to be harsh and making jokes as coping mechanism, does help. Ive been there. You wont want words you want actions. But David needs to be there for Jeff. He really needs to show behind doors rather than record them to show it. Everything is going to come to the light. Bad or good. Right now the bad is on David's part. Jeff is strong, mentally and with all these Surgeries can take a toll. In one of David and Jason podcast episodes that was from 2020 or 2021, they were talking about something and it somehow turned to a topic of car accidents and David saying if he ended someone life by accident and knowing him it was not on purpose but maybe a car accident/something that would be considered an accidental death , David said he would not be able to live with himself and would un-alive…. Several months later after that episode, he almost ended Jeff’s life… that’s just a big coincidence..
