Love your reviews. I like how you use the product for a few months before talking about it. Makes it a lot more genuine than all of the 'first impression' reviews that are all over KZfaq.

Give this guy some more likes y'all! Great extended review not normally seen on a single component. Picked these up on sale $50CAD/$36USD for the 56mm. Haven't got a chance to try them yet but happy that they sound like exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for the video!

Thanks for showing the specs on the wheel and how it effects the hanger space. I wish you dropped this video a week earlier because I just scooped the Kader radial full 99a and some 215's. The radials are wide enough that I can rock them with Indy 169's on a 10" deck.

Also Bones X99 is out, if you get a set you should make a video on what is the best all around all in one wheel for both smooth and rough surfaces: SFF4 97A, X97 or X99.

the powerslide fun/board control elements make these very enticing to ride with ventures which are very easy to initiate powerslides with on 6.1s and equally easy to control/setup speed overall. Those GX dudes are the living proof of the F4 97a's potential. Wouldnt hurt to have a similar setup as theirs in the quiver with some 97a conical fulls or radial fulls and 6.1 ventures.

Hi man, thank you for this super helpful review! I just got some of these wheels in the post today.. I ride a larger deck (9"+), ans these wheels still look huge (compared to the Bones 58s I had on there before). Like you said, I think that the reduced hanger length is going to help out with locking in on coping.. Did you find any trouble unlocking from grinds/stalls?? They wheels are way lighter than I anticipated which is a plus. Stoked to give them a try. Thanks again!!

I’m excited to try the new 60mm TFunk radial fulls in this 97d formula, I feel like it’ll be so fun on my wider boards & pushing through chewed up concrete

@@jesseboyd8660 hell yes!! I’m stoked you like em, my local out here didn’t have the 60mm so I settled for the 54mm radial fulls, they’re not too much heftier than the 53mm conical I’m used to but they feel way better to get from A to B, so I’d say $ well spent!!!

for me the contact patch is what attracts me to the radial fulls for sure with the edge profile/pop response similar to a classic or normal radial wheel. IDK if these get slightly wider as they wear the same way the conical full shape does To me its what attracts me MOST to the conical fulls...getting 56's and riding them down to 54-52mm...for an even WIDER patch than if you bought the 54s or 52mm conical fulls outright. While being able to take off the risers with ventures which are pretty bitey at those wheel sizes or need risers depending on your shaped decks wheel clearance. IDK something about a shaped board with 57s or 56's and no risers and having that snappy/response but still having a shape to ride in transition is really fun.

I think it's important to say that the 97s are slower on smooth ground than 99s or 101s. However, on rough ground or sidewalks it's easier to keep speed through crust or cracks due to the sofer urethane. I was considering switching from conical full 58 to radial full 56, but i think I'll stay on conical full. Mainly cause I don't wanna lose hangar space. I rotate between two sets of 58mm conical fulls 97 and 99. My park is grippy so I prefer the 99 there. But in the street or in indoor parks 97 everytime. My knees also hurt less from the vibrations when skating the 97s. It's gotten to the point where my 99s got put in a shoe box. Sure I miss the slide but the second I'm on anything other than perfect ground i don't regret changing. Looking forward to your review of radial 93s.

There's a bit to say about that topic that would be too long in comment form, so I'll have to make a video on that. That being said, they serve two different purposes: Bones X 97a acts as a hybrid wheel of soft/hard properties but isn't the best at either end (just like the Dragons), while the Spitfire F4 97a is a dedicated hard wheel that's more forgiving on rougher surfaces but not a soft wheel by any means.
