My next components will always be Sram. They lent me a bike at cyclocross Nationals, 20 minutes before my race. They acted very very quickly. If not for them i wouldnt have been able to race. I was grateful too to thier attention to detail. They set my seat height as well. I am very particular about my bike set up and they did fantastic work.

The SRAM guy is named Chris Hilton. He is the product manager, and led the development of the AXS groupset. He isn’t part of SRAM’s legal department. Hambini held a flame under his toes whether it was justified or not. I don’t think so…. I genuinely believe SRAM wants to make the best and most innovative cycling products. I prefer Shimano any day but whatever.

Chris should get promoted never mind fired.

Speaking as one who's the furthest from a SRAM fan-boy - it sounds like SRAM is living rent-free somewhere in PCW's corporate HQ.

I'm not a SRAM fan boy at all. In fact SRAM Red has let me down on more than one occasion in races but that was very un-professional from Princeton Carbon Works and makes them look quite low brow.

Interesting to hear that Hambini is not passionate about cycling, have lots of thoughts around that. At any rate, as someone who also works in the industry, Chirs for the most part is correct as most folks in the cycling industry do not make a lot of money and most could make more by moving into another field. But that''s a thought for another day...

It's probably a good job that SRAM don't make weapons, unless they intend on selling them to Pooh tin. But you have to hand it to Chris; his shit is probably harder than titanium

SRAM makes better components that anyone else. You might not like everything they offer or everything they have, but their electronic components as a groupset works better, installs better than whatever else is available on every level. And Princeton, with their Chinese made, rip-off wheels with no testing behind them, just show up in China and see who they can buy cheap rims from, with little thought or engineering behind them, can go F*** themselves as well. There are dozens of companies that have done that exact model and none of them are worth a damn. I don't know Chris, but I'm sure he's still got a job this Monday Morning.

The only thing i hate about sram is the cheap ass hoses they ise for thier hydraulic brakes , they are bled properly but still has a lot of squish wich lends to sram brakes feeling like they have more modulation.
