Star Wars Episode I Rewrite: Dawn of Skywalker

I think if Anakin was a teenager and Hayden played Anakin from Episode 1, he would have his character figured out in time for Episode 2. There's a big reason Ewan's best performance wasn't in 1, but 2 and 3, and Hayden's was 3. I enjoy Episode 2 and 3 a lot, and some parts of Episode 1, but I feel like if the romance stuff was better written, like the deleted scenes between Anakin and Padme, it would make for a much better experience.

I just realized, you made Anakin lose his hand in episode 1 and not 2 like all the other rewrites.

Wow, I actually really liked this rewrite, good job! I am not a big fan of Jabba being Anakin's master tho, as I feel like this is kinda "shrinking the galaxy" if You know what I mean. I think it would be better if instead of Jabba there was a Gardulla or even Lady Valarian (Jabba's rival from the Expanded Universe). Also I feel like there is a room for one additional scene, showing what happened to Maul after Kenobi cut of his legs. Perhaps he coul've been arrested by the jedi, but later escaped the prison, with the help from either his master or Grievous (which would serve as a good oppurtunity to introduce him, perhaps by making him kill some jedi guards). Speaking of Grievous, I also really like that You made him into Maul's helper, perhaps he could be used to mislead jedi into thinking that he is Maul's sith apprentice later on

Jabba won’t be playing a huge part going forward as the Sith kinda take control in Ep 2 so if you wanna pretend it was someone else, it’s no skin off my back. I did like the idea of Anakin’s daughter killing his enslaver tho.

@@lojackgorzynski2 years late but yk implying or making him Anakin father means Anakin isn’t special anymore right? He isn’t the chosen one which he is he’s just another strong force sensitive

Yeah no I’m sorry but that’s destroying what makes Anakin so special. One of the reasons he’s special is because he has no father. The force created him to save the galaxy and bring peace to it he was born through that not through a man and woman having sex. Taking that away legitimately ruins a huge and important part of Star Wars so that is change is literally as bad as Luke in the last Jedi and everything in current Star Wars

Sure but that almost never gets brought up in the prequel trilogy as it is. Anakin doesn’t need to be “special” he just needs to be a Jedi who became a Sith. I based this trilogy off of what we knew in the OT and the prophecy/Anakin’s birth are nowhere to be found there

@@lojackgorzynski you’re joking right. So you’re pulling a Disney and saying “ hey yeah so Anakin isn’t special” the Jedi have been around for upwards of 25,000 years it’s a prophecy written by most likely an anicent Jedi who had a vision of the future so no sir. This adaptation or rewrite would be crappy purely in the cases of making Qui gon anakins father and getting rid of the chosen one prophecy

@@jonathanhill3668you had to say most likely bc the chosen one prophecy is so trash that they never revealed where it came from. Probably because the OG intention was to have it be invented by the Sith so as to ape Dune even more. Why does Anakin have to be special? Luke isn’t special. Han isn’t special. Obi Wan isn’t special. Why can’t they just be characters without some idiotic prophecy telling you they’re powerful?
