Next season is going to be the weirdest suburban, domesticated superhero/villain show. *AND I AM HERE FOR IT!*

I didn't think too much about the "Summer School" subtitle for the season, but when I think of the concept of "summer school" in general, it's usually meant to be remedial lessons to get a student back on track if they did poorly in the year or are trying to get ahead of the curve. I'd like to think everyone was still coming off the events of last season, so in a way, the Summer School concept COULD connect to how some of the characters were coming to terms with all that, and in turn, the insecurities and past traumas that Eclipso exploited. Maybe it's a stretch, but at least with a subtitle like that, you could never guess what's going on; not to mention the episodes never had "spoiler-ish" titles this time around.

1. Spider-Man being framed and his identity revealed to the world. 2. The Crocks being the new neighbors of Courtney's family. You know what both of these events have in common?

Green Lantern’s Son is Obsidian so I really hope we get to see him and his sister reunite and team up!

Season 2 of Stargirl was good, characters like Shade, Thunderbolt and Eclipso were nice addition to the story.

This just puts stargirl very high on my list on my favorite shows ever, what an incredible season. Having Jade, Thunderbolt/Jakeem, Eclipso, Sylvester, Dr. Mcnider, Jay Garrick, and The Shade especially was great! Cant wait for Mr. Bones and the Crocks for season 3

I'm gonna say it; this is the best DC TV show, with Legends of Tomorrow bring a close second. Also, that was Keith David (the Arbiter from Halo, Vice President Keith David from Saints Row 4, that one guy from They Live and probably some other stuff) as Mr Bones

Starman did not save Courtney but broke the connection with Eclipso enough to allow her to use her inner light to save the day. Pat and Sylvester said as much in the basement scene. It was a win with an assist for Stargirl…the true hero of the series.

I'd rather have Cindy in the JSA where you could watch her. Saying no may send her into a spiral she doesn't come back from. I love that the Crocks think nothing happened and we're all friends now. Trying to kill you? Water under the bridge. I still think they will bring some time travel aspect for Starman's return. Use some of the comics history of the JSA and SSV traveling through time.

That was Keith David's voice. I know it anywhere and was super excited to hear it.

Stargirl is so good. By far the best DC show out there. I adore Legends but I have grown to love Stargirl even more girl!

Yeah, “Summer School” isn’t just a subtitle that doesn’t fit the tone and themes of this season, it barely factors into the plot about halfway through. I don’t know what other subtitles could’ve worked admittedly (especially since they teased the Injustice Unlimited as being bigger before they were unceremoniously done with), but… I don’t know, it’s kinda hard to think of a good one there. In contrast I can see “Frenemies” being relevant throughout the next season. Looking forward to whatever they’re doing with all those characters, and then there’s Mr. Bones and the Helix guys…

The skeleton guy at the end of the episode is Mister Bones he is a former villain and member of the group called Helix. He is also the head of the DEO that you see on Supergirl but this is the Earth-2 version.

1:35 one thing to keep in mind, the character of Cindy was always a cockroach and I knew she wasn't gone when she was sent to the shadowlands, but it just happens when characters viewers don't genuinely like happen to be harder to kill. It's happened with Sylar, with Crowley, with Kevin 11 (yes I said him) and many more. though I definitely liked her character in season 1 and liked the fact that they left her room in season 1 to grow and become something else. Mostly saw it with budding up with Court

The shot where everyone is staring down on Eclipso is a reference to when the Avengers has Loki down in Avengers/Avengers Assemble (in the UK).

I've maintained for a while that this show is the best live action content DC has ever put out, with Superman and Lois being a close second. This episode proves it for me (also, Eric looks really trim today)

A really good season. I like the first season more but the characters were really good this season. Eclipso was a really good villain and he was taken down pretty well. I would have loved to see like one more episode where he had Courtney's body for longer but I was fine with what we got. Stargirl has a really good cast and I can't wait to see the interactions between everyone and hopefully get Cameron in and maybe he become Icicle Jr. like I've wanted since the first season. A lot of stuff to look forward to in Frenemies. My favorite set up has to be Starman training Stargirl that will be so cool.

S.T.R.I.P.E (Mike) played the Ant Man Van horn before he hits Eclipso. That has to be a reference to the MCU.

This season started a little rough tbh but it certainly got better and I'd argue pretty damn good halfway through to the end. Excited for season 3 again!

Mister Bones skin is translucent. Him looking like those dummies from Deadliest Warriors is spot on. Looking forward to Season 4. Mister Bones as the main villain and voiced by Keith David is going to be awesome.

Moments in this finale i liked: 1. Starman entering from the side!! (teased throughout the whole season, but yess) 2. Cindy and Courtney fighting together! 3. Rick and his friend Grundy 4. Artemis, Sportsmaster and Tigris showing up and moving into the neighboor house x) 5. toast... x) 6. Zeke. just Zeke. Moments i didn't like was momements that felt off: 1. Dr.Mid-Nites mantle being handed over - "..what if the worlds need dr.mid-nite again?" too cliche of a set up 2. the flashbacks that brought Courtney back - would rather have starman/pat/Barbra reminding Courtney too look/think about all of her friends and family which was literally around her( and have the camera pan over the whole bunch ) 2. the flow of the ending scenes for each characters also felt very edited together, but i guess there weren't any natural transistions between the different situations. About the villain of the season, the Kid was so good and delivered the creepy vibes so goood! however that meant maybe too little screeen time of Eclipso himself. Excited whats going to happen with Cameron, Corcks living next door, Pat (since he obviously did something to Ricks uncle), Beths parents, Cindy being (maybe) in the JSA and whatever the skull guy was at the end.

Finished 2021 Arrowverse big bads ranked 1. Eclipso (another great dark villain in the Arrowverse with a cool design as his rivalry with the JSA shines by playing on their deepest and darkest fears) 2. Tal-Rho (while i have mixed feelings about Tal-Rho being Superman's half-brother, i definitely do think he was a very well written character as he was essentially the Arrowverse adaptation of the Eradicator) 3. Black Mask (cool mask design as well as the actor giving a pretty good and menacing performance) 4. Tobias Whale (as the final big bad of Black Lightning, i say that this was Tobias' very best season as the main villain as he really almost made Jefferson lose everything) 5. Godspeed (while he does have a very comic accurate costume, August Heart's character and storyline should have been developed more) 6. Speed Force (while the storyline with the Forces sucked, i do think that Michelle Harrison gives at least a decent performance as a villain) 7. Safiyah Sohail (an interesting connection to Alice, but i think Safiyah lacked development as she pretty much disappeared after 2x08 and return again very late near the finale of the season) 8. Bishop (clearly THE worst villain ever in the Arrowverse as he is so annoying and unbelievable that he was responsible for the events of Legends S6)

Who would've thought Stargirl would be one the best shows CW and also a very good super hero show in general. I defiantly thought the show would be ok but it's one of my favorites along with Superman & Lois. I hope the CW writers can keep it up I don't want this turning into some Flash low moments. Starman entrance was badass

I enjoyed the finale but was disappointed Eclipso didn't do more. There shoulda been more of a sense of danger in Blue Valley with him feasting everyone's hatred. Also Artemis, Tigress and Sportsmaster coming in last minute was pointless especially after last episode Shiv made the call. I wonder if they cut some stuff out Tbh...

I'm still hoping for a new Doctor Fate in Season 3. The Helm of Nabu is in the JSA HQ. Would also be a great way to introduce a new magic user. Giovanni Zatara and Zatanna. Or an old Version of Kent Nelson. I wouldnt even be mad, if they included a story line similar to Young Justice with Zatara agreeing to become Fate so Zatanna doesnt have to.

Finished 2021 Arrowverse seasons ranked 1. Superman & Lois S1 (what a great first season to this show. Not only that the production is very high quality, but the writing and character development was really great as both Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch shine as the titular characters) 2. Stargirl S2: "Summer School" (though the pacing was rather slow, it was overall another great season of Stargirl with a dark tone that fits perfectly with the main villain, Eclipso, as the JSA continues to grow with new members in Jade and Thunderbolt) 3. The Flash S7B: "The Godspeed Imperative" (although the Godspeed arc should have been developed more, it was definitely very interesting in terms of bringing back some old characters like XS, Jay Garrick, and John Diggle as well as finally bringing in Bart Allen aka Impulse) 4. Batwoman S2 (this was a challenging season for this show as the writers essentially have to reboot it with a new original lead character, Ryan Wilder. While i did eventually warm up to her as well as like the storyline with Black Mask, there were still problems in the writing) 5. Black Lightning S4 (while this season finally concluded the rivalry between Black Lightning and Tobias Whale, as a final season it didn't really wrapped up loose ends) 6. DC's Legends of Tomorrow S6 (once again, the show continues to drop in quality with this inconsistent comedic tone. Not only that alien theme was not interesting, but this was also Constantine's unfortunate sendoff and Bishop is such a terrible villain in the Arrowverse. Be glad that this season was a bit more entertaining than that of the Forces arc on The Flash) 7. The Flash S7A: "God Complex" (do i even need to explain why this arc is so low on this list? One word: UNWATCHABLE. The Forces arc was the cringiest storyline we have ever seen in the Arrowverse)

Great Season Finale. This season was good but it wasn’t anything amazing or special though if you compare it to Season 1… maybe it’s just me but Season 1 had perfect pacing, perfect villains, great teamwork, & felt refreshing while this season felt more fillerish with how the pacing went. Nonetheless, Season 2 was still great & better than like 95% of TV Superhero Content.

My favorite DC CW shows are 1. Superman and Lois 2. Stargirl All the other old CW shows where ruined. Flash was ruined due to multiple issue with one being We are all team flash and we will win with love. All battles can not be won like that. Supergirl was lost by forcing wokeness into everything. In like one season they focused on doing that and not superhero stories. BatWomen is better then the other two right now. It is focusing a little less per episode on the wokeness and more on the comic book issues. But they need to continue down the Stargirl and Superman show paths.

Good finale to a good season. My only real disappointment was Yolanda I felt just kind of got over her guilt and PTSD of killing Brainwave but other wise..I enjoyed it. Oh , i also have mixed feelings on Shade still being alive…I feel it cheapens his “death” but I love Jonathan Cake in that role so much that i don’t much too much lol. Anyway , i particularly enjoyed Beth’s empowering arc this season and her ending with her parents was a nice but funny flip of her being a helicopter child at the beginning of the series The action spectacle was well done and a few hype moments which i dug…felt like the equivalent of Endgame on a CW budget haha. Looking forward to Mr Bones as seemingly the big bad of next season especially since he’s voiced by the legend Keith David !!

Wasn't a fan of the fights this episode or how they beat Eclipso but that doesn't take away from how much I enjoyed this season. It was a different but refreshing take on a superhero show season. Hopefully, the next season is also good (and better!).
