I had one just like B3 1991 GL engine RP 1.8 90 HP engine with bosch monoinjector excellent strong car mechanics is easy and has a lot of space

Very cool to see a petrol/benzine Passat! Almost all are diesel from my experience I love the unusual front of the B3! There's no grille hehe Just flat metal with the VW badge

Petrol Passats are rare because only the diesels were reliable enough to have survived this long.

Hence the heating problems that they had. This one spent its life in a very cold environment and that's probably why it survived.

You should do a mechanical rejuvenation video! Like timing belt, water pump, oil + filter, replacing brakes bushes etc etc overall mechanical clean up and getting a car on the road!

rescuing a car that has been sitting on a field for such a long time can´t really be done. It´s underbody is rusted as hell for sure. NO point in rescuing it..

I would drive it! I always love me some old beater cars and trucks! Something you can just drive, throw around, and come back without worry of breaking the bank or the vehicle itself! Childhood and nostalgia, man. I remember seeing a few of these, in better shape, in the late 90s. Throwback!

The premiere of this Volkswagen model is in 1987. It is one of the best developed, prepared and produced cars of all time. This car was designed by engineers from Germany, not by a computer program and accountants of unknown origin. This is a real armored Volkswagen. This Volkswagen is a powerhouse of this company and of the whole of Germany. Germany can be proud of this Passat.

Another great video: The perfect winter car: a beater with a heater. I always loved the simple, blocky yet rounded styling on these, especially the wagons. Elegantly purposeful. I Had a VR6 GLX sedan for a short time that went like a scared cat and was a blast to drive.

Hi from uk my mate👋👍 the car nearly went airbourne on second tug out the whole was in 😂 and I give total credit to some of the tyres that hold air you inflate👌lol and great job getting it goin if fuel pump was only thing after bein cast to aside for a newer model then we can forgive that👍 the first clean really brought the best out on this one tho was a epic well deserved wash👌 apart from bonnet and passenger wing car stood up well to mother nature👍 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋

Самые удачные, надёжные тачки . очень плохо что сейчас не купить такую новую. Хорошего пассата нашли, комплектный и не плохо сохранился. Ещё можно подлечить и прослужит ещё.

remember to keep the pedal assembly and the brake booster/clutch master bracket if you scrap it. those go for quite a lot of money these days
