I just removed two kingpins on a transit bus today. This tool would have saved me heating and pressing and heating. And heating.

As i observed in removing a kingpin in a truck it is so laborious, more effort by hammering the kingpin.

Knocking out a king pin and taking apart everything for the most part usually isn't that bad. What really does suck is seized king pin locks and reaming the new bushings. Other than maybe preventing you from messing up the threads for the king pin caps for spindles that do have threaded king pin caps, if I were a shop owner, I would have a hard time justifying the purchase of the tool.
