I am repairing and strengthening a used, apparently homemade, stock trailer so that we can use it to move cattle. I fit and weld in 3" channel and prep it for a new wood floor.

Nicely done, Tony. Finally a project I could help with...LOL. When the rest of the trailer falls apart, you'll have the base for a flatbed trailer. Your trailer with the welder-cutting torch setup is really nice!

I could have used some help! It was a voyage of discovery as I tore into it...I think there were hurricanes and angry natives. Thanks on the trailer. I bought it as an unknown that had been sitting for about 8 years. I did the tables, vise, bottle rack, toolbox, etc. It was pretty much a flat trailer with hooks for leads and a non-running welder when I bought it. It's been really handy.

Man thank goodness you can fix that old homemade trailer so no cows break a leg or worse. Looking good Tony.

I fixed it better than it was but not what it should be. I was concerned since the floor was rotten and had no support. For goats, sheep, maybe hogs it would have been OK but not cows. It's still not the gooseneck I was looking for but it'll do.

@@PineyWoodsHomestead Amen. They gotta be worth more per hour of pain than cows...

@@ozarksethic we enjoy raising them even with the challenges. If we had the grass we'd have cows. I'll leave that the cows to y'all...
