Hi Ashley! Thank you! After having lost my husband to cancer eleven months ago, I needed this. I often think why my husband, why do I have to struggle financially now, why do I have to be alone. Then I look at my non-Christian friends and think why can’t I have a great life like this friend or that friend, then I remember God is here for me and he will see me thru these dark days. God never promised a perfect life, there will be struggles, hardship in this life, and there is one thing I know for sure that when I get to Heaven my eternal life will be marvelous. I just need to focus more on God!

My calling is different from the average person. I am single, never married, no children, and I am a caregiver to both of my elderly parents. I live with them and I am 49 years old. I have no regrets and know this is the path God wants me on.

Comparing my calling with others' is one of my biggest character flaws (sins...downfalls...mistakes... whatever). I KNOW this, yet I continue to do this. Thank you for this reminder. I understand this is a self-serving comment. Forgive me. But I really needed to hear this yet again. There's hope for me yet. If you're a Christian who is a person of prayer, and you're reading this comment, please pray for ME that I would follow Him in the path that He has prepared specifically for ME. I started my journey growing closer to God about 1 year ago. Two days ago, I went through such a rough, emotionally draining day. I looked at the sunset and told myself that no matter how much I try to improve myself, my life will not change, my life will continue to be hard and nothing will change. I tiredly (and painfully) told myself that I was done excusing all the lows in my life as a part of His plan and that He didn't have a plan. Today, I get the sudden urge to look at this channel, a channel I was following for the past few months but ignored for those two days, and I saw this. I don't know God's plan, my plan, like Peter, may be rough compared to the plan of my family, or John, but it is MY path. My journey. God wanted me to see this, to be reminded that He has a plan for me and wants to see me succeed. I just have to continue to trust him. Thank you for giving me this Ashley! It was a blessing and gift!

I was at church camp this past week and this is exactly what I was struggling with. I was so focused on what my friends were getting from God that I was missing out on God for myself. And God revealed that to me and he corrected me, and so this video is a confirmation of what God has been doing in my life and it has literally come at the perfect time. God is so amazing. Thank you guys!

Been thinking about leaving Vet School. I would be a 2yr, but this spring I had put on my heart to be a stay at home, be a mom with a homestead and homeschool my kids that I have in the future. I felt burnt out from medicine. I don’t even have a Husband yet, and moving across the country with my mom. I know it is kinda jumping the gun. Sometimes I think that I will miss medicine but with my goal in life, it wouldn’t be possible to work and be there for my kids. It feels scary leaving something that I worked so hard for and it’s “safe”. And it’s hard to be told that I need to finish Vet school, and that I already made it and finished a year. So many of them don’t believe in God and don’t understand what God says in the Bible about women are really meant to work in the home and the men work outside. So against the norm these days. Please pray for a clear head!

I really needed this! Earlier i was thinking what would be my life looked like, i dont know why God wants me to be working in a hospital with low income and stay in a condo. Only like $1k will be left for me and i cant save money so much for my future with that so i dont know why God wants me to work there. But i know that God has a bigger plans for me. I just need to follow Him 🙏🏻. Please pray for me that God may give me assurance that im going to the right path. Im also broken hearted right now and i always cry because of Him, pls pray for me to God to heal my broken heart 😭😭😭😭thank you so much! God bless us all!

This is beautiful insight- I've read that scripture countless times and not had the encouragement I've got from it today! 🔸️"You, follow me" makes me think of the quote "All is perfectly simple if all is Christ". As believers we must walk forwards, looking to Christ our one Object. We will be wholly content in Jesus if all other goals and aspirations submit to this divine calling! 🔸️No one else has been given the life you have. I used to struggle with what my calling was (& still do, wondering if I'm meant to be doing 'bigger' work) but now I realise that my primary purpose is to simply follow Jesus. That takes discipline, to get up every morning and dedicate myself to Him anew for His glory. Others may serve God in more obvious or admirable ways; they will be blessed for that, and they will face their own hardships in that. But for as long as I worship God my Creator from my own poor heart, committing my life to Him and trusting _His_ plan, I am responding to the Lord's own command, _"follow me"_ 🔸️I love the sweetness of this thought: Christ did not say "go where I drive you"- He doesn't drive us from behind like most shepherds. He leads. He goes on ahead, and gives us the choice to wander from His path and encounter the discomfort and dangers of this world, or to stay close to Him and walk in the light where we are safe. And He does not simply say "Follow me" and go on out of sight without a glimpse back- He cares for us. He would also say "Come unto me all ye who are weary". There is a closeness, an intimacy we can share as we follow, which will bind us to Him with cords of love ♥️

Recently found your channel and it’s truly amazing. Been trying to get myself consistent with Bible/prayer time literally for years! But feel so guilty that I’m quite disorganised. I love the way you guys do not make me feel sad and condemned but uplifted. This vlog was perfect timing since still trying to figure out, other than cooking and cleaning at home, what is my calling, why can’t I figure that out and why am I not good at anything, type of feelings! Love these quick bite sized nuggets of wisdom especially as sometimes it does get hard to find time to watch longer vlogs. Can you please also do vlogs on.. boys and quiet times.. I’m trying to figure out how to help my 14 year old do quiet time/journal/pray etc which seems harder than showing my teen daughters! Also Christian’s and fashion, pms/crazy hormones whilst trying to be a proverbs 31 woman..how to deal with wayward/backsliding kids/spouses, healing of ailments, and how to overcome generational curses. Also if you were to listen/watch secular media/music which ones would these be…thank you so much and God bless you all on a wonderful ministry.

We have unique relationship our calling and walk different for reason ....me my husband have different roles in church...what he seeing wrong no is what I'm seeing wrong no just we at different levels and see different things in spiritual realm...you speak in tongues going see same as prophetic person no...we going see different...we to love ourselves not envy nobody and there walk....in the Lord....be yourself while worshipping the Lord...I had Learn this in my walk....as well too thank you I needed this...I love this video.....
