ugh...my dryer is very old. YEARS ago I replaced a pulley in it due to squeaking but that was so long ago, I forgot how I did it. Thus, I searched and found this video. I think I'll give the PB Blaster trick a shot first though I was able to find the idler pulley and rollers on a Sears part website.

Check on Amazon too. Might be a little cheaper for the kit.

@@CharlietheHandyman That is true, but then I may run into the issue you did of the part not fitting. The good thing about Sears, Maytag, and Whirlpool appliances is that there is a website where users can put in the model # and get an exploded view of everything that can be purchased. I've used that site before, and it's always spot-on, with no mismatched parts. However, before I do that, I'll use your trick. I'm sure it'll work, and I happen to have some of that PB Garage Door Blaster sitting around.

It’s possible anytime it’s squeaky something is going on. Could squeaky for a long time and not breakdown or could squeak for a short and break down.

@pricilag.lopezgonzalez6274 it’s pretty simple to grease up the wheels. Just need some basic tools and take your time. Take pictures as you’re taking it apart so you can put it back together. You got this, I have faith.
