This video is so relatable, it's ok not to be ok. Continue taking time for yourself, and doing what you're doing...you've got this! 🥰

Omg, you literally described everything I have also been going through! I also put a ton of pressure on myself to be a perfect parent to my daughter, which is not really that realistic. And I feel pressure to portray perfection on KZfaq otherwise I feel like nobody will watch my channel, and I also feel extremely isolated in motherhood, I literally don't have any friends where we live, because I moved here three years ago and since becoming pregnant felt even more isolated from the people I managed to meet. I hope you feel better and more positive soon! You have a lovely personality and I love how honest you are! You got this!

Thank you! I appreciate your comments & am so glad I am able to share similar struggles with someone because it makes it feel a little less alone. Motherhood can be hard sometimes & I feel like we are all harder on ourselves then probably our own children think of us. It’s definitely more challenging making new friends as an adult. It’s almost like dating again lol.

Thank you for being vulnerable, being a mom is so HARD! I don’t think I ever go to bed without worry about whether or not I’m being a good mom. I love my daughter and want to give her the best but it’s not easy. New subscriber and fellow KZfaq mommy 💛

I can't even put it in to words how much I Needed this video! It is okay to not be okay. Watching this and reading these Amazing comments have really impacted my day in a positive way. I have been trying my best to be the happiest and most fun mom possible but recently I have been feeling just sad and lonely. My husband has been away for a month because hes away at A-T. And due to that I have not had any alone time at all in 3 weeks not even a hour to myself. I'm so glad that I'm not the only Mama that feels this way. Sending you all the positive vibes!

I feel this! I’m in the process of overhauling our methods/habits in our home so that momma can breathe! I feel like I’m sinking lately!

I understand and support you.. You're so genuine here, and this is so needed, on all social media platforms. There's an ebb and flow to motherhood...and I've found myself feeling all the things that you've mentioned here. As much as there are pockets of fun and family time during the summer months, I've always felt a bit "off" when the school year is over and there's an entirely different flow in our home. Again, this all so normal. I think its great that you're acknowledging those feelings and expressing an interest to work on yourself, and do what you need to do to feel good..... On a separate note, I have to find you on IG :) Hugs your way....

Ahh I feel you, one of my biggest fears is that my kids will grow up to be unkind and so my mind is always thinking things like "omg he is being SO MEAN, why is he like this?" Then 5 minutes later he does something absolutely sweet and kind haha. Take a break, re-center, go back to why you started your channel and where you want it to go. I bet that when you come back you'll have lots of fresh content ideas and feel inspired again. Sending you positive vibes!

I've definitely been where you are many times and I know I'll be there again at some point. The highs and lows of motherhood can be extreme and feel very overwhelming. The best way I have found to deal with it when I'm feeling this way is to take some things off my plate, get out of the house as much as possible, and do something I really love to do. Then I come back and make a complete list of everything I am feeling, and everything I need/want to get done. Writing it down always lifts a little bit of weight off my shoulders. Sending positive vibes your way!

You are so honest. I relate to you on so many levels … on motherhood and on being a online creator. I feel you on the pressure, etc. I know you haven’t uploaded a new vid in the past year … honestly , I don’t upload either, lol. But I’m subscribing to you because I’m going to be waiting for when you do drop a video. Your videos are really truthful and helpful for stay at home moms. You should upload again ! It doesn’t have to be perfect … but you should get back on the video uploads … you’ve got what it takes. Be strong, mama. I can’t wait to see more from you … and I guess I need to take my own advice and upload more too . Reach out to me if you’d ever want to talk. Stay at home mom/online creator encouragement stuff. Hugs*

I can so relate we all have those “low seasons” and I’m my own worst critic! It’s hard to juggle it all sometimes, and kids take up so much time! And we can’t do everything we want to accomplish everyday, but you are doing amazing! Would love to stay in touch! 💕💕

Gosh I truly wish we lived closer!! I feel like I could have said this. Emory has been pinching me lately and I immediately project “omg I’m a bad mom this little human is going to be a mean person, blah” I totally understand 😭 My energy is so low the past week or so as well. I live in a super small town and it’s hard to make friends with little options. SAHM Isolation is so real. I put pressure on myself to create sometimes and that is so frustrating for myself as well. This was so personally helpful to me ❤️

Agree! Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all meet in person! We need a youtube Mommy retreat or something lol Yes I can get overwhelmed in content creation & then I totally “deer in headlight” it & then do nothing sometimes. Avoid it & distract myself which isn’t healthy either. I hear you in the pinching thing too. It’s hard not to take personally. It helps me to think of it as a phase & it is normal developmental behaviour for a baby/toddler.

I am so sorry Taryn. 😥 I was having a difficult time with toddler tantrums one after another with my little girl and feared she was going to get out of control about last week. 😬 I just sent you a message on IG. ☺️ I ended up moving to just one video a week because it was just getting to be too much and I’m still growing the same! Thanks for sharing your heart!

Oh honey, I feel you. Today is a HARD day. Daughter has been inconsolable today. I have a special needs daughter... who doesn't speak or walk so every day is a guessing day of whats wrong. Today she decided to regurgitate her breakfast and snacks. It got all on her shirt and in her hair! SIGH!!! All while trying to care for my younger daughter, answer client emails and help my fiance at the SAME TIME!!! I just did a video about this 2 days ago!!!

Yes It is okay to struggle, there is absolutely no comparisons. I struggle more often than I can remember, and what has helped me keep going is remembering taking ONE DAY AT A TIME. before my toddler I was planner, I was ambitious, I had business plans but now I am a mom, a SAHM so struggle is real. I would not change anything about my life, I love my daughter. But we need more women especially SAHMs to talk about how lonely it gets and not every day is same and most days there is no makeup and mom bun.

Oh, girl, for every phrase you said I was like - YES, YES, YES! These few months were such a struggle in my life with crazy life events and million of tasks to work on! I didn’t get to post of KZfaq as much as I would like because it was crazy here! And IG - I just feel like if I don’t post that photo that I just snapped like RIGHT NOW, I won’t get to do it. But I am not telling you to do it; maybe you just need a break! I think people don’t notice! I just feel burnt out! (And I literally just posted the same video too haha, not really funny). My solution is to try to stay afloat for now and whenever I can get to pruning and removing things out of my life that don’t serve me/my family. I hope you get better soon! Hugs!

Awe darling you sound so burnt out. We all question our integrity and even competence as a mother when we are burnt out. This is a really hard time of year for everyone. You will get through this and you are s wonderful mother. Give yourself a break my love! Let the hubby take the kids for even a couple of hours per week while you go do something you enjoy. Even if it is just taking a walk or having a nice lunch by yourself. Reduce your stressors and increase things you enjoy. This is not a luxury, it’s an essential for you maintaining your mental and physical health. Your family needs you! You are doing a great job mama. This is something that we all go through. I hope you feel better soon!

I think what you need is perspective about the things that are bugging you. How you feel today is far from likely the worst or best you will ever feel, and most of the things you worry about probably won’t be an issue five or ten years in the future. As Mark Twain said, “Worrying is like paying a debt you don't owe. I have spent most of my life worrying about things that have never happened. Drag your thoughts away from your troubles... by the ears, by the heels, or any other way you can manage it.” Speaking of time and perspective, take a quiet moment and reflect on how much better it is to be alive today than it would have been trying to raise kids 100 years ago or longer in the past. Find it in yourself to give thanks from a place of perspective and I think you’ll find you won’t have as much emotional space to feel down and out. Last, take care of yourself *first.* Only then is it possible to effectively care for others. Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks, especially on social media.

Yes beautifully said! Love the quote! 💖 Of course, at the end of the day, in the grand scheme of things this too shall pass. I had a hard time sharing this because I didn't want to come off as if I'm complaining about motherhood but I also want to be as transparent and honest as I can. I do my best to post uplifting content on mindset and self care but on the other side of that are sometimes low moments and we are all humans wanting to feel connected to each other and of course we aren't perfect. My only hope for hitting publish on this video is that somewhere, out there, is another mom struggling and for her to feel a little less alone.

A Mom for Every Season I applaud you for being publicly vulnerable. Based on the comments already, I’d say you are connecting with people for sure. The feelings you described are ones everyone goes through in one form or another. This is a rich resource of energy to pull from to enhance our lives and find deeper empathy for others than we have had in the past.
